Jungkook huffed a heavy breath once his feet successfully reached the cold surface of his room's balcony. He quickly pulled up the long rope made of his clothes and brought them into his room. He put them in his walk-in closet before he stepped back into his room and sank his body into his bed.
It's been almost one week since he has been doing this. It's tiring but at least he did not feel suffocating to be grounded in his room all day. And, now, the time will be up soon and he won't be grounded anymore.
He stared at the analog clock hung on the wall of his room before he pulled himself up from the surface of the bed to start doing his morning routine before he was asked to get ready for college by his family's driver.
It's been hours since he arrived at the college, and he has been trying his best not to interact much with Maria since he knew very well that there were a lot of his mother's men everywhere in the college. To lessen the risk of him being grounded for another week, it's better to restrain himself from making any public display of affection with his girlfriend and Maria was also aware of that.
"Again tonight?" Jisung asked while he, Jungkook, and Yeosan walked out from the lecture hall once their last class ended a few minutes ago.
"Nah. Since tomorrow is my last day, it's better for me to just stay home, just in case." Jungkook shrugged and his two other friends just nodded in understanding.
"Okay, then. Hope you survive, dude."
"Hope so too." Jungkook smiled bitterly before he darted his eyes away from them and met with a very familiar car that was parked not too far from where they were standing right now.
"Damn, he's already arrived. Get to go, guys." He ran towards the luxurious car before he jumped in and then, it did not take any second to drive away from there, leaving for his house.
He finally reached home as he climbed the stairs with lazy steps and brought his steps towards his room. But, he was then stopped by someone none other than his mother. He sighed heavily as he turned around to face her.
"You think I don't know what you have been doing behind my back?" His mother suddenly said and he closed his eyes to fight the urge to roll his eyes at that moment.
"Glad that you knew. Then, I won't feel guilty for lying all this time." Jungkook replied out of sarcasm.
"This girl really affected your respect towards your own mother. Can't you see that, hm?" Those words that came out from his mother made him scoffed in disbelief.
