"What's happening here?" Jisung suddenly came with Yeosan after they realized that those four took a very long time just to grab some drinks. They looked at the couple who was hugging each other with Maria sitting on the counter, snuggling her face in Jungkook's chest and Jungkook's right hand was circulating her waist, protectively. They then looked at the two best friends, Farah and Hyunji that looked like they just saw a ghost.
Maria slowly pulled herself out of Jungkook's chest once she already felt that her body was already back to its normal state. She sighed as she lifted her eyes level to look at her boyfriend. Jungkook just smiled and slowly nodded his head.
"Let's just tell them, hm?" Jungkook said to her, trying to assure her that it's okay to let them know.
"Fine." Maria sighed before she dropped her body down from the counter and slowly turned around and faced the four of them. "So, erm, I'm sorry for keeping this from you guys. It's just, you know what happened the last time vampires tried to show themselves in front of humans. That is why we, vampires, need to disguise ourselves as humans. For safety purposes."
"But... he's a Jeon. You are dating a Jeon?" Farah stated the obvious as Maria smiled nervously.
"Yeah. Long story but, guess he chose me."
"Wait. You are really a vampire?" Yeosan asked for another confirmation, not sure if he heard her right or not.
"Unfortunately, yes." Maria sighed, yet again, as she dropped her gaze to the surface of the counter. Jungkook then slid his hand into hers and gripped onto them firmly.
"Unfortunately?! That's like the greatest thing ever! I always dream to meet one and befriend them when I knew humans used to be great friends with vampires. They are cool as fuck." Yeosan replied out of honesty and Jisung nodded as he replied.
"Actually, I think so too."
Maria wad turned mute after she heard the positive responses from their friends and to be very honest, she never expected these kinds of reactions.
"Look. I already told you they would not mind." Jungkook told her from behind her back and she just bit her lower lips, did not really know how to react at that moment.
"I'm really sorry for keeping this from you guys. I'm just scared that something bad will happens once I decided to tell you guys."
"Nah, Maria. Why would you think of that?" Hyunji asked with a soft sweet smile, actually got why Maria was scared of revealing herself. It's like risking her whole family if she ever tries to open her disguise.
