{Colin's POV}

I get back to San Francisco. I get home and sit on the couch, kick my feet up and turn it on ESPN to see what analyst give there opinions on this season. I really don't care what they have to say about me, but I still watch. I get bored and want someone to talk to. I decide to call Brittany. "Hey handsome." She says answering the phone. "Whatchu doin?" "Just came from the gym...you?" "Just not too long ago got back from seeing my kids." "How are they?" "They're good....aye what you doin tomorrow?" "Nothin. Why?" "Fly out here and come kick it with me." "Hmmmm" "hmmmm what? You know you want to. You smilin from ear to ear right now." "Whatever. I'll let you know." "I need a yes." There's a pause. "Fine Colin. I'll let you know when I get to the hotel." "Just come to the house." "Okay. What time should I come?" "I get out of practice at 2, so if you can find somethin after that, then that's fine." "Okay. Well I'll call you after I get home and shower and stuff." "Alright." We hang up.

The next day I get up, and get ready for practice. I leave and head to the facility. A few hours later, after lifting, puttin in work on the field and weight room, I finally get home. I make sure that I'm good on protection and stuff and I am. About an hour or so later, there's a knock at my door, I go open it and it's her. I let her in and we head to the living room. "Thanks for comin." "Thanks for the invite. Have you been laying on the couch since you got out of practice." "Yup, same as always." I say laying back down. We sits on the other couch. "For real?" "What?" "You gone leave me all lonely over here on the couch...I see how it is." "If you want me over there, just say so." "Come here." She gets up and walks over and lays down on top of me. "That's better." I say as she gets settled and she giggles. "Soooo I have something to tell you." "What?" "I'm moving to LA at the beginning of next month." "Forreal? What you got goin there?" "Just trynna get my modeling career off." "That's what's up. I'm happy for you." "Thank you."

A few weeks go by and I'm in LA for the twins 7th birthday today, then taking the kids back with me for the season opener tomorrow. I decided to stop treating Brittany like she's just some hoe and decided to try it out, so I'm officially seeing her. She moved to LA a couple weeks ago, so I'm glad she's close. Haven't introduced her to my kids, and that's gonna be kinda hard now considering she's gonna come to the game on Sunday. Maybe I can just get away with introducing her as a friend. I can already hear Cay'Lyn's sassy little mouth now. I'm preparing myself for her to say something wild. I get to Demi's to pick the kids up. I get there and she lets me in. "They're in the living room watching TV..." I walk in and their faces light up. The twins are the first to run over and I bend down and give them a hug. "Happy birthday pretty girls.....here. Gotcha somethin." I say pulling jewelry boxes that hold the diamond studs earrings I got for them. "They're pretty." Cay'Lyn says. I put the earrings on for them. "Bling." I say and they laugh. "I have one more gift for y'all." ...bikes. "But, it's at my house, so you'll see it later."

"Okay...can we leave now?" Cay'Lyn asks. "Yeah." They head for the door and I pick Cali and CJ up. Demi grabs her purse. "Oh...you're joining us." I say standing in the doorway. "Um yes. I wanna have fun too." "Oh...I just thought you probably had plans...but you are always welcomed to join us." "I know I am....come on, I'm ready to have some fun, and so are the impatient little girls waiting by the car, staring at us with devilish eyes." We both look over at them. "Yeah...we should probably go." "Mmhhm." She locks the door and I get the kids in the car. Demi and I get in the car and buckle our seat belts. "So where are we going?" Demi asks. "I don't know...lets ask them...girls, where we goin?" "Chuck-E-Cheese." Cayleigh says. "We always go there." Cay'Lyn says. Then I think, we've never been to Disneyland. "Disney land!" "YEAH! We had fun last time." Cay'Lyn says. "You've been?" "Yeah...mommy Kellen took us." There's an awkward silence. "Okay. Disneyland it is."

We finally make it to the park. I wish I would have thought of Disney earlier so I could rent out the park so we enjoy no lines. Maybe next time. I push CJ and Cali in the stroller, and Demi holds the twins hands. We take turns going on rides with them. They get on a ride that we're too big to get on, we stand there and watch them. "Please don't be mad." She says. "Me about what?" "About taking the girls to Disneyland already." "I'm not mad, I'm more upset and disappointed." I say not taking my eyes off the girls while they enjoy the ride. "It's just about every kid's dream to come here. I wanted be there for their first time, and see their faces light up when they see Mickey Mouse or Cinderella." "I'm sorry." "No need to be. If anything, it's my fault right. Everything eventually falls back on my mistakes. When you have them, you're free to do whatever....as am I." Cayleigh waves to both of us and we wave back. "Brittany's coming to the game tomorrow, and I'm gonna introduce them to her." "So you and this girl are pretty serious?" "Yeah...we are. I just thought I'd let you know before I do it." She nods.

We have fun at the park for a couple hours and they start getting tired, and the little ones start getting cranky. We take them back home, and they take a nap. I take them out to dinner later, and towards the end, the waiter brings out slices of cakes with a 7 candle on it. They sing happy birthday to them, and demi and I join in while recording. "Okay, make a wish." They close their eyes, wish, and blow out the candles. After stuffing their faces, and sharing with CJ and Cali. "What'd you wish for?" I ask. "We can't tell you." Cay'Lyn says. "Yeah...then it won't come true." Demi says. "Okay. Fair enough." We leave, and drop Demi off, then make the long drive to my place. Three of them fall asleep within the first 40 minutes. Cayleigh's the only one awake. "Daddy.." "Yeah sweetie." "Can I tell you what I wish for." "If you tell, it won't come true." "Maybe you can help." "...what'd you wish for?" "For you and mommy to love each other again." My eyes water a little bit.

The next day, during the game, the kids chill on the sideline with Leah. She works for our organization, but I'm paying her a little extra. We win our season opener starting us off 1 and 0. After the game, and shaking hands, I head to the locker room to quickly shower and get dressed. I go to the where Leah and the kids are waiting. After the press conference, I have to introduce Brittany to the kids. I saw her a long time ago, but she's been keeping her distance. The kids and I walk over to her and I give her a hug. "You did great." "Thank you...ummm kids, I want you to meet someone....this is Brittany. Brittany this is Cay'Lyn, Cayleigh, Cali and CJ." I say pointing to them individually. "Hi." Brittany says with a smile. "Are you my daddy's girlfriend?" Cay'Lyn asks. Of course she'd be the one to see right through it. "Yes CeCe. She is." There's an awkward pause. "Who's hungry?" I say breaking the silence and I get no reply. We end up going out to eat anyway.

{Cayleigh's POV}

I don't like my daddy's girlfriend either. I just want my mom and dad back together. We get to the restaurant and sit down. Daddy orders lemonade a for me my sisters and brother. I can tell CeCe doesn't like her either. We both stare at her. She leans over towards my dad, and tries to whisper but I hear it anyway, "why are they staring?" "Girls..." "Yes daddy." We both say. "Do you have any questions for Ms. Brittany." "I do." CeCe says raising her hand. "What do you wanna know sweetie?" She asks. "Is that a wig, or your real hair." My daddy starts choking after taking a sip of his drink. "CeCe!" He says. "It's just a question." "It's okay...it's not a wig...it isn't all mine though. Anything else you'd like to know about me." "I think we're done with questions for now." Daddy says. Our food comes out and daddy makes CeCe say grace. We bow our heads. "Lord, thank you for this food and bless my daddy's girlfriend with new, good hair...amen." I open my eyes, look up and daddy's staring at CeCe and she smiles.
