{Demi's POV}

"Got damnit." Colin says pulling up his pants. I hurry and throw on my pants and go run after Dylan. "Dylan.....Dylan!" I call out and I get no reply. I go upstairs to her room and she's not in here, but I hear some shuffling in her closet. I walk in and she's sitting in the corner, balled up in fetal position. "Baby come here." "No.." "Everything's okay baby." "Daddy was hurting you." "Sweetie, daddy wasn't hurting me." "Yes he was." She says completely in tears. "That's what that mean man did to me. I hate daddy." "Honey don't say that. " I don't know what to tell her. I wanna tell her the truth, and what The difference is between rape and actually doing it for pleasure, but she's not ready for that. She's 7, but I don't know how to explain this. She thinks her father was raping me, and now she hates him. I hear footsteps behind me and she turns away. I look back and Colin's right there.

"Dylan.." "Go away." "Not now Colin." "Sweetie.." He says completely ignoring me. "GO AWAY!!!! I HATE YOU!" She screams. I can see the hurt in his eyes as he slowly backs away. "Baby don't say that. You don't hate daddy." "I hate him." "Honey come out of the closet....daddy's gone." She lets me in cross her arms that are wrapped around her legs and I pick her up. She puts her face into my neck and cries. I hold her tightly. "It's okay baby. Nothing's gonna happen." I sit on the bed and she continues to cry, eventually she falls asleep. I lay her down on her bed, then go find Colin. He's in the kitchen, leaning against the counter with his head down. "I never thought my baby girl would hate me." "She doesn't hate you Colin." "She said....she screamed it! Loud and crystal clear." "She was scared. She thought you were raping me." "Did you tell her I wasn't." "She didn't wanna hear it. She cried herself to sleep.....I knew we should have waited." "So you blaming me now?" He says in a hostile tone. "No, I'm not." "Sure sounds like it." "Well I'm not." "I don't know what to do. My daughter, my baby....hates me." He says then walks out.

I don't chase after him...I stand there in the kitchen to think. Think about how I'm gonna explain this to Dylan. I go find Colin and he's in his mancave, at the bar. "Drinking is not the answer...you know that right?" "Chill out alright. It's not like I do it all the time. Here. You should have one." "No thanks." He grabs a glass anyway and pours me a drink. "You just don't listen do you?" "Listen...we both could use this right now..just take it." He says holding the glass near me. I roll my eyes and take it. "I have to find out how I'm gonna explain this to her." I take a sip. "Woah....that's strong." "Lightweight....and explain what?" "Explain that what she saw was not you forcing me down to have sex with me." "I don't think there's away around it. As much as it pains me to say this, you just have to be honest with her. This whole thing has just completely ruined her and its unbearable to see." "I know. And what sucks is that this will probably go on for a long time." "Don't.....I'm gonna keep some faith and say that she's gonna come around hopefully in the next month or so. Maybe even sooner." "Well hopefully taking to her will help a little bit....why the hell is this so strong." I say after taking another sip. He giggles. "Demi...it's alcohol. It's gonna be strong...come on. Lets kill it." "Lets not. I'm not trying to get tipsy." "You won't. Come on. Ready...3.......2........1." He says and we both down the drink.

About an hour later, she wakes back up. "Hey baby." I say as she comes sit next to me. "We need to talk." I say placing her on my lap. She looks into my eyes. "There are something's that grown ups do as a way to show each other that they love them...that's what you saw me and daddy doing. What that mean man did to you wasn't good...and it's something no little girl, or anyone for that matter should go through. Daddy wasn't trying to hurt me. He loves me too much to hurt me....just like he loves you." She looks down and fidgets with her fingers. "Dylan..look at me." She looks up. "You trust me?" She nods. "Trust me when I say that he loves you, and won't hurt you..." "Where is he?" "In his mancave..." She gets up and head that way.

{Colin's POV}

As sitting on the couch, watching tv, I hear little footsteps. I turn to look and it's Dylan. My eyes grow wide because I'm not sure what she's gonna do, or say. She walks over and stands in front of me. She looks down, and starts to get the pouty face, and tears start to fall. "I'm sorry daddy." "Shhhh...it's okay." I say wrapping my arms around her tightly. "I'm sorry for saying I hate you. I don't hate you daddy." "It's okay Dylan. Just don't cry." I wipe the tears falling from those pretty brown eyes that will make any father say yes to any and everything. "Believe me when I say that I'll never harm you, or any of you kids okay. I love you and I'm here to protect you. I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you from him. I'm so sorry. But nothing like that will ever happen again, okay. I promise." She nods. "Can daddy have another hug." She gives me the tightest hug. "I love you daddy." I smile. "I love you too. I love you so much." She gives me a kiss on the cheek. "Can I stay in here and watch tv with you?" "What kinda question is that...of course you can."

We stay in here watching tv all night and when she falls asleep, we head upstairs. I wake her up to get her changed in her pjs, then I tuck her in and she's out again. "What'd you say to her?" I ask sitting on the couch. "Nothing but the truth....how does it feel to have her back?" "I can't even put it into to words......kinda feels like the day she was born and I held her in my arms. We had already had four children, and with each child, it felt like the first." "She was the toughest and the slowest to get here. 14 freaking hours of labor." "You would try to have a natural birth too." "Yeah, and how long did that last?" "Not very long. You surrendered to an epidural 3 hours in." "You damn right I did....but that was all worth it. She was the last piece of the family." "Yup. Our crazy and beautiful family." "I love you." "I love you too." I take a quick shower and cuddle up to my wife and fall asleep.

{CJ's POV}

After almost breaking things in the house yesterday, we call a quits on the wrestling. "Wanna go to the beach?" "Yeah...with who?" "Friends from school. It's a lot of us going." "Your mom lets you go to the beach with people without a parent being there..." "I wish. Whenever I go somewhere with friends, someone's mom or dad has to be there." "Oh...well I'm down. Any cute girls." "Definitely." "You have a girlfriend?" "Nope....you." "I don't think I'm a girlfriend type of guy." "Ohhhh you're gonna be that guy." "What do you mean, that guy." "Who's afraid of commitment..." "I'm not afraid of commitment...there are so many girls...why just be limited to one." He shakes his head. "Aye but did I tell you I'm goin to 7th grade." "Swear?" "I swear." "How?" "Straight A's and grade placement test....aced it." I say then wink. "So unfair." "Yeah well life's unfair..." "Hey mom." He says as she walks by his room. "Can we go to the beach." "With who and who's mom is gonna be there?" "Friends from school...and PJ's mom is gonna be there...and she's gonna pick us up...if we can go." "It's fine with me." "Cool."

Time rolls around to go to the beach. I throw on red swim trunks, a tank, and sneakers. His friend mom comes and picks us up. "Pj this is CJ, CJ this is Pj." "Nice to meet you." "You too. You're dad's a beast." "Yeah, a retired beast." "Still a beast though." In the middle of the conversation, my mom calls. "Hey sweetie...just checking up on you." "I'm good." "What are you doing?" "Going to the beach." "With who?" "Some of Wes' friends." "Is there a parent with you guys?" "Yeah." "Okay...well have fun...and I miss you already." Oh brother, here she goes. What happens when you're a mama's boy. "I will." "I love you." "Love you too." I say and we hang up. "Your mom?" "Yeah." "Mine does the same." We get to the beach, and I take a selfie as we're walking. I post it to my Instagram that has like 100 followers...I'm so popular.

"Summertime shinin with my bro-zin☀"

The entire day we kick it at the beach with his friends.
