{Demi's POV}
Around 4..almost 5, the girls get home from school, and as always, they raid the fridge and pantry...as if dinners not gonna be ready in the next hour or two.
"How was your first day?"
"Same old, same old." Cayleigh says.
"Yup. Same friends, same stupid guys..same teachers..I'm just tired of high school. I've been there too long." CeCe says.
"Ditto. Only thing is when we graduate, we're gonna go to different schools." Cayleigh says.
"I know. I don't wanna think about that now."
"So you guys wanna see what I got daddy for football season?" I ask, they nod. I go upstairs to go get it. I got him and engraved whistle. One the side is says "#1 Coach" and on the top it says "Kaepernick". It just came in today.
"That's dope." Cali says.
"Yeah, he's gonna love it mom."
"But what's for dinner though?" CeCe asks.
"I don't know, what do y'all want?" They shrugs their shoulders.
"Pasta? It's quick."
"That works."
"Can one of you, except Cali because she can't drive.."
"I can drive mom."
"Yeah but not legally...as I was saying..I need one of you, or all of you...doesn't matter to go get garlic bread from the grocery store." They look at each other.
"We'll all go." Cayleigh says.
"Good...before you go...spaghetti sauce & ground turkey, or Alfredo sauce and chicken."
"Both."
"Y'all are complicating my life."
"That's what happens when you have children mother." I shake my head as they leave the kitchen. I get dinner started, they come back from the store. Around 6:30, CJ walks through the door smelling like grass and sweat.
"Where's your papa?"
"He said he's gonna be a little late."
"What's a little, and how'd you get home?"
"A teammate dropped me off."
"When did he say he'd be home?"
"I don't know mom. He just said topout a plate up for him."
"Okay...go take a shower and we'll eat."
"Can we just eat now. I'm starving."
"Not smelling like that you can't. Go shower." He huffs and goes upstairs.

{Colin's POV}
The uniforms, and other equipment ended up coming today and I stayed after practice to get them all sorted out and ready to hand out to my players. I got them everything, cleats, gloves, I got some new warm up suits for them, new jackets, and sweatpants for my coaches...I went all out. Demi thinks I over did it, but I don't think so. The guys already got their cleats to break in during practice. It takes a while to get everything sorted out, but I finally finish and head home. As I pull up to the house, I get a text from Demi.
"What time are you coming home?" I don't reply since I'm literally in the drive way. I get out and hit the alarm. I walk in the house and put my keys on the hook. I go to the kitchen and enter a minute and a half on the microwave, that has my plate in it, and start it.
