{Demi's POV}

A couple months go by and it's Super Bowl week, and as I've been saying since the season began, Colin and the 49ers will be playing in the Super Bowl, and Colin will retire as a 7 time Super Bowl champion. Most rings in the history of the NFL. They haven't won the 7th title yet, but will come Sunday. Also...the game is here, at our stadium...what better way to go out. While the kids are in school, I'm with Colin while he's doing all these press conferences. As always, media coverage is insane, and he's gonna do a thousand interviews over the course of the next week or so. We're walking hand in hand to the podium so he can do his interview. He gets up there, camera's flashing everywhere and reporters asking questions left and right. "So any plans for retirement?" "Um, I'm not too much thinking about that right now. I'm thinking about what we have to do to win this ball game." "What is it that you have to do to win this ball game?" "Execute. Get good looks, and have a good game defensively." "Still the same guy. Through all these years, he's still short and to the point with his questions. It frustrates a lot of people, but that's just who he is. The whole thing lasts about 15 minutes then we go do a few more. Soon it's almost time for me to leave so I can be at the house when CJ and Dylan get off the bus.

{CJ's POV}

Dylan, Jasmine and I ride the bus to our stop in the neighborhood and walk to our house. "I'm so excited for the game on Sunday." "Me too. Thanks for inviting me." Jas says. "No problem! It's gonna be a lot of fun!" "I can't wait." "All of a sudden we hear a voice, but it kinda fades....I look up and Dylan is no where to be found. "Dylan..." I call out...but I get no response. "Dylan.........................DYLAN!!!!!!!!!!" I say looking around. "She was just here!" Jasmine says. "I know...DYLAN!" I call out again.... "Where'd she go!" All of a sudden a black truck, looks kinda like my parents goes passed us.

So I figured that she went to the house and we get there and she's not outside. I unlock the door and my mom's in there. "Hey sweetie. She says as I walk through the door. "Hi Jasmine." "Hi Mrs. Kaepernick." "Have you seen Dylan?" "...no. She should have been with you....right?" "Yeah. But Jas and I were walking, and she just all of a sudden disappeared." "CJ, you're suppose to be watching her!" "I thought I was." "Come on." She says walking out of the house. We walk out...she watches me walk Jas to her house then we leave.

{Demi's POV}

"CJ, you're suppose to keep an eye on her the whole time. She's probably walking around like a chicken with her head cut off around the neighborhood." The more I drive around, the more I start to panic, then I'm just to the point to where I want my baby, and she is no where to be found. I even checkmwith our neighbors and shes not there. I call Colin. "Hey...everything okay?" "Baby Dylan is no where to be found." "What? What do you mean?" "She's gone Colin. Her and CJ were walking from the bus stop and he said that she just all of a sudden disappeared. We've been driving around the neighborhood and she hasn't popped up." You check with our neighbors?" "Yeah..." "Alright I'm on my way home. Y'all just go back in the house. I'm gonna swing by and pick up Cali and the twins. Stay put. Alright. When you get in the house, call the police." "They're gonna tell me it hasn't been 24 hours yet...we can't report her missing. We can, but they won't take action." "I know.....................that's why you're gonna tell them that she's kidnapped." "She can't be." "What other explanation is there. She's not with the neighbors. She's no where in the neighborhood. Someone has her...and I'm gonna figure out who." "How?" "First step is to get the police involved, and we'll go from there. Just get back in the house, and don't leave." "Okay."

{Colin's POV}

I go to Cali's school first, and get he then I go to the twins school, go to the office and get them signed out and wait for them to walk in the office. Cayleigh walks in first. "Hey dad. Everything okay?" "Just sit there and wait for CeCe." She finally walks in. "Hey dad...what's goin on." "Lets go." I say walking out. "Dad, we can't leave, we have practice later. We can't miss it." "Your coach will understand." We finally get to the car and I speed home. "Dad...I can sense something's wrong...." Cayleigh says and I don't say anything. I really can't even think straight. Haven't been able to since Demi called me. "Daddy..." I look at her. "What's wrong?" "I don't even know where to start......your sister is missing." "Missing?" Cali asks. "What do you mean she's missing?" "Her and CJ were walking to school as always and according to your brother...she just disappeared. Your mom drove around the entire neighborhood, and no sign of her." We get home and there's two cop cars parked outside. We walk inside, and I lock the door behind the girls.

"So what are you gonna do to help me get my daughter back?" "They just got here, and they're just asking questions." Demi asks. "What do you mean you just got here. What the hell y'all been doin, taken a damn coffee break. Took me at least 40 minutes to get my girls from school and y'all just now gettin here." "Sir I need you to calm down." "I need you to do your damn job and find my daughter." He ignores me and directs his attention to Demi. "I'd like to ask your son a few questions." "Sure." "Where is he?" I ask. "Upstairs.." I go to his room and he's crying. "I'm sorry dad. It's my fault. I should have been watching her." "It's not your fault junior."what if we don't find her." "We'll find her son. Okay?" He nods. "The cops wanna ask you questions. They just wanna know if you saw anything unusual. You tell them everything. Anything you think that'll help get her back." He nods and we go back downstairs.

We get downstairs and he sits at the table with the detective. Me and Deme are sitting right there next to him. "Can you tell me what happened today?" He asks. "Yeah....Me, Dylan, and my friend were walking home from the bus stop..and me and my friend were talking and I look up, and Dylan's gone...and that's really all that happened. It happened so fast too." "You didn't see anybody around?" "No. It was just us three." "Did you see anything else?" "Uhh just a random black truth. Kinda like ours, but that's it." "Colin, where does your friend live." "Next door." "With parental consent, I'd like to ask her a few questions after wrapping up here." "So what's your plan for finding my daughter?" I ask. "Right now...all we can do is put out an Amber alert. I need a vivid description of your daughter, as detailed as possible." "This is bullshit. A got damn Amber alert. That's not gonna do shit for her. She any wear in California by now. Amber alert my ass. If you won't find her, I'll do it my damn self."

"I understand your frustrations Mr. Kaepernick, but here's the thing, we don't have much evidence to go off on. This is gonna be tricky. I need you to let me do my job. I will do everything in my power to try and find her. I'm asking you to trust me." I hesitate before nodding. I will call you if I get any information." "Thank you." Demi says. He leaves and the house goes silent. "Go to the living room with your sisters, we need to have a talk." I tell CJ. "You're not riding the bus to school anymore. From here on out, we're taking y'all. If you need to leave this house, mom and I will take you. No more walking the neighborhood, unless one of us is with you." They nod. "So what now?" "We have to wait." Wait? Seriously...why aren't we out there looking for her!" CeCe snaps. "Look. I feel the same way you do. We all wanna go out and find her. But we need to let them do their work." Demi says. All of a sudden, everyone's phone vibrates. It's an amber alert. Doesn't give her name...but it gives a brief description. Demi says nothing more and just goes upstairs.
