{CJ's POV}

We walk into the school, and still have 15 minutes to spare before the bell rings.

"Hey, there's your girlfriend." Cali says. I look over and Jasmine is talking with other girls.

"She's not my girlfriend."

"Yet."

"Y'all gotta chill." I say before walking over to her.

"Hey CJ. She says.

"Hey." She introduces me to her friends. She was always the one to be friendly.

"Nice to meet y'all. So what's your schedule."

"Why? You won't be in any of them." She says.

"Why not? He could be. You're in 6th grade right?" Her friend asks. Before I could answer she does it for me.

"Einstein here got bumped up a grade."

"Someone's jealous."

"Never."

"Yeah you are..." She rolls her eyes.

"What lunch do you have....you should sit with us." One of her friends suggests.

"I'm sure he has friends...right CJ." I smirk as I immediately feel the jealousy coming from her.

"What friends....there's only you...right?" She shakes her head. "I'm just kidding. I'll probably end up sitting with my sister...but maybe I'll stop by." I give her a hug.

"I will see you soon. It was nice meeting your girls." I wink at them before walking off and going back to Cali.

"Mom wants us to send her a 'first day of school' picture." She says.

"Of course she does." We take a selfie doing the greatest lightskin poses of all time. She sends it to her and sends it to me. I post it to Instagram.

"Your favorite Kaepernicks."

She laughs while looking at her phone. "What?"

"Mom...she said what the hell kinda pose is that. Open your damn eyes and smile..."

"Tell her we're lightskin...that's as wide as our eyes will open for pictures." She laughs while replying back to her.

"She said that's the most ridiculous thing she's ever heard."
"I'm sure it is." The bell rings.

"Well that's our cue...meet up after class?" I ask.

"Yup."

{Cayleigh's POV}

Finally back at school, and I'm kinda excited. We're no longer little freshmen, or fishes, like everyone else says...and basketball starts in a month and a half. When we get to school, the bell just finished ringing, so we get no time to talk with our friends, but I have a couple of them in my first class. The day goes by and it's lunch time. CeCe has the same lunch. Our dad brings us something from In-N-Out.

"So we're all good for our tattoo sesh after our birthday." CeCe says.

"I don't know. I'm starting to rethink this whole tattoo thing.."

"Don't tell me you're gonna punk out."

"We really aren't thinking this through. We walk around the house in sports bras 24/7....mom and dad will notice it."

"So we won't wear sports bras around the house anymore..who knows, maybe they won't even get mad. Dad's covered in them, and mom has like 13 of them."

"I don't know...why don't we just wait till we're 18 like every other normal person in the world." She rolls her eyes.

"Loser." A couple of our teammates come and join us.

"So everyone can't stop talking about you guy's party."

"Our party is like a month away."

"Yeah..but it's still being talked about. They're trying to figure out who the surprise special guests are..." I nod.

"So, who are they?"

"Bre...it's a surprise." CeCe says.

"She doesn't even know. We both don't. That's one part of the party planning we got left out of."

"Damn...must be someone big."

"We'll see." I say. I catch CeCe staring towards the entrance of the cafeteria, I look over and she's looking at Derek, who's with some other girl.

"Cee.."

"Huh?"

"You haven't been concerned about him at all...why start now?" She shrugs her shoulders. I could slap him for doing that to my sister, but I'll spare him the pain...he's not worth it.

[A Month Later]

{CeCe's POV}

"Are you girls ready?" My dad asks walking in. Cayleigh and I were getting dressed with my mom's help. "Wow, you girls look beautiful. He adds.

"Thanks daddy..."

"They're all ready." My mom says. CJ, Cali and Dylan are already at the party with out families. According to CJ, people are already getting there...like it's packed.

"Was a limo really necessary guys?" Cayleigh asks as we notice the hummer limo parked by the curb.

"Yes. It's necessary. Gotta arrive in style." My dad says.

"Fine." We get in to find all our teammates, who are some of our closest friends inside. This is gonna be a fun ride there. We get to the party and there's a big ass announcement that we're here. The party gets started and it's time for our special guests, and me and Cayleigh almost faint. Chris Brown, Drake, Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. My mom hops up there and takes the mic.

"Is she bout to perform too?" I ask.

"Looks that way." Cayleigh says. She starts "Cool for the Summer."

"It's not even summer." I say.

"Technically it still is. Fall starts in 5 days" CJ says.

"Shut up."

"Hey, they still love her." We look around and everyone's jammin out. After all the performances they chill here for a little bit then leave...they all literally performed 3 or 4 songs! My dad hops on the mic.

"I hope you guys enjoyed that great performance by my beautiful wife...I know I did. So I have one more surprise for my beautiful twins...so before we end the party, I need to everyone join me outside."

Me and Cayleigh grab each other hands and hold the, tightly. We follow our parents outside and see out cars. A BMW for Cayleigh and the Audi I wanted for me!

"Yo are these for us?" I ask. My dad nods.

"Go ahead, and take them for a spin...matter fact, y'all can head home." We say bye to everyone and we don't head home first. We literally go all around the city, just because.
