I was marching the corridor annoyed but remained stoic as I was still inside the hospital. I was spent after all the work I've done. Hell! I badly want to kill Doc. Fiona for making my life miserable. That bitch keeps on asking me to do things that's not necessary. I mean, do I look like a maid to her? Kahit pwede sa iba i-utos palagi sa akin ipapagawa?
"Babe!"
Instantly, my forehead creased at that call. God! Not again! I clicked my tongue at saka binilisan ang paglalakad. That annoying voice is one of the reasons why I had to endure unnecessary drama in my life.
Can't they just give it a rest!
"Babe, wait!
"Hey!"
"Doc. Ahena!"
I stopped midway -- not because I want to but because I need to. That jerk who keeps on calling me is one of my seniors and I have to show courtesy.
He let out a chuckle after seeing me stop. Agad ko siyang hinarap with forced smile plastered on my face. "Doc. Jack!" I said, nodding my head acknowledging him.
"Why do you hate me calling you babe?" nakangisi nitong tanong. I cock my head to prevent him seeing me rolling my eyes. I shrugged the annoyance and I faced him again.
"Because when you call me babe… I felt like my life was in danger!" mahinang bulong ko. He laughed at that, gaining more attention than necessary.
"I didn't know I'm endangering you!" tatawa tawa pa nitong sabi.
Well, damn courtesy! Nang hindi ko na mapigilang magpanggap. I let out a mocking laugh.
I lean toward him to lessen the distance at para walang makarinig ng sasabihin ko. "Of course you don't know it…. You're full of yourself!" Napaawang ang labi niya sa sinabi ko. But there's amusement in his eyes.
I groaned mentally. Why did he always find me amusing when I'm being mean? Damn jerk!
"Babe, I'm not full of myself, I'm just a confident guy!" Pagmamalaki niya.
Goodness! This guy is a stressor!
"Look! I don't like unnecessary drama in my life. I'm tired of it!" Pag e-explain ko sa kanya.
His brow furrowed. "I'm I a drama to you?"
"No! But look at your left and right. That's unnecessary drama!" nakangiwi kong sabi pertaining to other girls. "Try not calling me babe and stop spreading rumors!" seryosong bulong ko. He just stared at me with a hint of a smirk.
Almost instantly, lahat napaiwas ng mata ng igala nito ang mata niya. Sadly, hindi niya naabutan ang mga mata nilang kanina pa ako pinapatay.
He was about to ask pero inunahan ko na. "I'll get going… see you around!" sabi ko at at agad na umalis.
"Ok babe! I'll see you around!" malakas nitong sigaw -- making me rolled my eyes. This Jerk! Kakasabi ko lang huwag akong tawaging babe!
Hindi pa ako nangangahalahati sa cafeteria when someone called again.
"Doctor Cruz!" Binalingan ko ito. I stare at her while waiting for her to say thing.
"Is there's something between you and Doc Jack?" titig na titig nitong tanong sa akin. Kahit kailan napakachismosa ng isang to!
"Of course not! He's just messing around!" I said uninterested.
She wiggled her brows. "But he said you like him"
