Celene POV
Pang limang door bell ko na at hindi parin lumalabas ang kaibigan ko. Si Diana, one of my friend in my field.
She is currently living with her parents since the day we pass our licensure exam. Hindi pa siya nagsa-start mag residency just like me.
"Oh my g! Am I seeing a ghost. What brings you here?"
Napaangat ako ng ulo. There she is, shocked all over her face. Pero napangiwi ito pagkakita sa mukha ko.
"Are you ok?" concerned lace with her voice.
I nodded. "Can I come in?" pagbiro ko dito. She didn't laugh though.
Am I that hopeless?
"Of course come in" she open their gate wide open. Dinala niya ako deretso sa kwarto niya na walang ipinagbago. It's my second time around here.
"Spill it. Why do you look awful? You look like you just lost love ones"
Napatungo lang ako. Unable to speak. I might broke down if I force myself to speak.
I heard her sighed. "Let me guess, it's about Knight? Something happened?"
I didn't bother looking at her. I just nodded.
She went beside me and hug me. "It's alright. You can talked to me when you're ready"
No need to. I already talked to a small kid.
She continued reading her book. Nakahiga lang ako sa kama niya, calming myself. She didn't ask or talked, which made me relief. Nagpadala siya ng meryenda sa yaya nila ng mag alas kwatro na ito.
"Thanks for welcoming me" sabi ko pagkakain ng meryenda. She looked at me right away.
She examined me for a while. "Now you look fine. Spill the beans" she eagerly said.
Napaismid ako. I might tell her or she will bugged me nonstop.
"I saw Ace" I pause, thinking if I should tell her about Aihama. "She's with a girl"
"And?" she said signaling me to continue.
I laughed. "And what? That's it. I saw him with other girl"
Ngumiwi ito. "Oh, your jealousy drove you mad then" she concluded.
I shrugged. It's not just about my jealousy. It's about my trust issue. I'm miserable dahil nawawalan ako ng tiwala sa kanya and I'm mad because of it. I grew up in a uptight bringing and it result in me, having trust issue.
"Ok, enough of your love quarrel. We should enjoy now that you're here" masayang tugon nito.
She stop concerning the moment she concluded about me being just jealous.
Minsan na niya akong nakitang ganito dahil lang sa pagigging over jealous. I can't help it though. Sa kay Ace ko lang to naramdaman and it's overwhelming.
"Yeah, I'm here to forget and you should entertain me, my dear friend" Pagbibiro ko dito. But deep inside, it's not a joke. I really need a break from all that's happenings.
She giggles evilly. "Ok, but I will be in charge of the activities"
I nodded without thinking the consequences of agreeing. She leap happily.
"Now, now. I'm going to choose you a dress. We're going to a bar"
Napangiwi ako. "You know I don't like bar, right?" I said regretting my choice.
