Consumed by darkness. Pitch black. Total silence. Intrigued by her current location, (Y/N) hugged herself to control the shivering of her body, while her eyelids slowly fell close.

"If you ever feel afraid....lost and helpless. Take a minute. Calm down and think about something beautiful..."

Her mother's soothing voice reached out to her sobbing form. She always knew how to comfort her. How to ease the pain and support her to not lose control, something she really needed right now.
Taking in a deep breath, while trying hard to push every negativ thoughts aside, (Y/N) focused onto her body.
Her still hitched breathing, her racing heart, the millions of goosebumps, which spreaded across her delicate skin. It was so cold. So terrible cold and not only, because of the uncomfortable atmosphere around her. Concentrating on her mother's words again, she just let go. Her body felt numb, exhausted. Helpless, she was laying on a hard ground of an unknown place. No glimpse of light anywhere. No chance to escape or stop this kidnapping. It was terrifying, but still (Y/N) wasn't able to scream or shout out her despair. It was already enough. She stayed silent, while clinging desperately on beautiful memories.

"(Y/N)...it's for the best..."

She wasn't surprised, that Dark was the first thought, which popped up on her mind. He gave her warmth and hope. Everytime she found herself in trouble, it was him, who stepped to her side to get her to safety. It was heartbreaking to think about him, but at the same time it let her smile weakly. Deep inside, she wished that he would come now. Step through the darkness to just hold her close.

"It hurts..it hurts so much..", (Y/N) thought exhausted, while her smile slowly faded. This time he wouldn't come. He would never come again. Whatever he had planned, she had to go through it alone.

"Always acting so strong...", she whispered bitterly and thought about their time together. His cold and piercing red eyes, which narrowed dangerously, after spotting her frightened form for the first time. She was so scared of him that she wasn't able to breath. His actions were always precise. Flawless and on point. With his sharp tongue, he always was totally honest with her, even if the truth was unbearable. Straight to the point, Dark often pulled her back to reality. But honestly, (Y/N) found that far more better, than lying and covering the truth to prevent hurting someone. Something you couldn't stop anyway. But in between all their hard times, she also was able to discover another side of him. The short smiles, his soft touches, the way he was able to comfort her. (Y/N) had to smile about his trying to stay collected after she told him about being his fiance. After they ate dinner, she was beyond surprised how his bowl was almost clean. Like there was no food inside at all. Nevertheless it took him much effort to state the obvious and just say thank you or it was delicious.

"But still you were able to show me your kindness in your way..you helped me in so many situations..showed me what was on your mind..your true self...and let me fall for you deeply..", she spoke, while tears rolled down her face.

"Why Dark? Why did you push me away? You were rude, cold...always so unreachable.. but in reality you were just lost like me..and after you finally opened up, you cut the lines so drastically.", she spoke frustrated and the next moment, (Y/N) was blinded by a sudden light. A faint smell of wood and flowers reached her nose. Fresh and calmly, it ingulfed her senses. Her skin tickled of the familiar feeling of resting on soft gras. Blinking her eyes rapidly, she tried to get used to the sudden change, while watching her surroundings nervously. Slowly her blurry vision got back to normal and let her eyes widen of the sight before her. Looking around, (Y/N) was speechless for a moment. She knew in an instant, where she had arrived. The beautiful bright sun shone down onto her. Birds were chirping peacefully their daily melody, underlining the peaceful atmosphere perfectly. Gasping (Y/N) had to hold onto her dress for support to get used to her current location.
