Gasping, (Y/N) shot up from her sleep terrifyed. Quickly watching her surroundings, she sighed in relief to not be afraid of anything around her. It wasn't real. No monsters were haunting her down, still her heart was racing rapidly.

"A nightmare...", she whispered stressed. Brushing through her hair, she waited for herself to calm down. Since this storm, (Y/N) struggled with these horrible scenes in her head. Scenes of getting caught by evil creatures. Pulled into the darkness, while screaming in agony. It felt exhausting. Made her feel strained.

"I have to face my fears and get used to the situation i am in right now.", she whispered and remembered Dark's explanation of these uncomfortable dreams. To see things in his rational, cold point of view, made it kind of easier to handle it.

"An experience, even if it was an bad one, will make me stronger...", (Y/N) smiled weakly and decided to leave her tent for a moment to get some fresh air. It was still nightime and the moon shone brightly down onto their resting spot. It was a calm and silent night, but faint sounds of whispers echoed torwards her shivering form. Confused about the fact that she and the shopkeeper were by themselves, (Y/N) slowly followed the noises. Hidden by the darkness, she approached the fireplace to find the old woman speaking to two unfamiliar men. She could already tell by their appearance that these two didn't look like friendly visitors. Armed with swords and evil grins on their unshaved faces, they sure were some troublesome criminals. The uneasy expression of the old woman supported her thoughts.

"What to do?..", her mind was racing of ways to help her. She had to think wisely. "Dark...what would you do?", she thought stressed and thought back of similar situations. He always was keeping an eye on his surroundings, using any possibility to his advantage, unfair ones or not. Maybe distract them, by making a noise somewhere? And use the moment to drag the old woman away from them and hide?

"So...we make this quite simple old hag. Give us your money and we will leave.", one of the two men spoke seriously, while playing with a knife in his hands. It was getting uncomfortable. Slowly (Y/N) started to move.

"My business isn't on good terms right now...", the witch spoke stressed and shook violently, after the knife pierced the ground next to her.

"That's your problem. Give us your money.", the man shouted and got up to step closer to her scared form. Frightened, she was about to run away, but a sudden noise got everyone's attention. (Y/N)'s eyes widened, after she stepped accidently onto a tree branch. Surprised everyone was looking at her.

"What do we have here?. Who is this?", one of the two spoke evily. Cursing under her breath for making such a stupid mistake, (Y/N) stepped back to get some space between them. She often had read about such incidents in books and couldn't believe that this also happened to her. It was so obvious, so cliche. How unfortunate that it could happen in reality. Now things got quite difficult. The old woman was too close to the two men. Grabbing her and run away would only end in getting caught too. The plan to use her unknown presence as a surprise, failed miserably. Observing the heated moment, she realized that running away on her own would be the only possible option. But never would she be able to leave the old woman behind. She helped her to escape and beside that, she was defensless.

"If you are interested in this girl, then take her!", the witch suddenly called out. Gasping (Y/N) couldn't believe it. Her arrogant evil smirk watched her shocked form, while the two bandits laughed out amused.

"It's nothing personal young girl, but it's a fact that you are the reason why i won't be able to get back to the dark realm for my business ever again.", she spoke annoyed. (Y/N) balled her fists in anger. Now the idea to leave this old hag behind, sounded more than delightful.
