Picture Perfect - Jeff Hardy

Placing my camera bag down on a crate I begin the process of checking that I have everything that I need, in the event that I don't I have still have time to run back to the hotel to get what I am missing.

Tonight I am doing ring side photography for Raw, I spend a lot of time moving between Raw and Smackdown but I like Raw best, mainly because of a certain some one but also because I prefer to have Friday's off, my hope is that eventually I will be made permanent on Raw but as yet that hasn't happened.

"Ah y/n just the person I was looking for"

Turning I see a smiling Stephanie walking towards me, smiling back at her I close my bag and turn to face her.

"Hey Steph, what's up?" I ask

"I need you to do something for me" she says "would you mind hanging around ringside today and taking some behind the scenes shots? you know ring set up, superstars practicing that sort of thing"

"Yeah sure" I say "Colour or Black and White?" I ask

"Do me a mix of both" she says "oh and maybe some of those black and white ones you do with little pops of colour"

"No problem I'll head out there now" I say grabbing my bag

"thanks y/n I appreciate it" She says before walking away

Grabbing my stuff I head out to ringside, placing my stuff on a seat I take out my camera and attach a lens before walking over to the barricade and taking a few test shots. It doesn't take long for me to become lost in what I am doing.

As I continue to snap away a pair of hands slide across my bare stomach as arms wrap around me and my breath hitches at the contact and I hope to god he doesn't notice, a chin rests on my shoulder and I feel a cheek against mine. I know it's him, I don't need to look, I have his touch committed to memory.

"whatcha doing?" he asks softly, his warm breath fanning across my cheek

"Steph asked me to do some behind the scenes shots" I say as I lean back against him a little, knowing I shouldn't because I am torturing myself

"You mind if I have a look at this?" he says reaching for my camera keeping one hand flat against my stomach.

"Sure" I say as he takes it out of my hand, I watch as he messes with it for a moment before aiming it at us, pressing his cheek closer to mine he snaps a photo of the two of us.

"Hey not bad for my first try" he says showing me the photo

"That's actually really good Jeff" I say "well the half with you in anyway"

I hear a quiet tut as he takes the camera from me again, he lets go of me and I instantly miss the contact, turning the camera on my he begins to playfully take some shots of me but as he does I cover my face laughing.

"Jeff don't I am not photogenic at all" I say putting my hand over the lens

"Are you doing anything after the show?" he asks

"No just going through the photos and sending the best ones off to Steph, the usual why?" I ask

"I was hoping I could come by and hang out" he says "if you want to that is?"

"I'd like that" I smile trying hard not to blush

"Great I'll see you then" he smiles "oh um would you send that photo to me? the one I took of us?"

"Of course I'll send it as soon as I get back to the hotel" I say earning another beautiful smile from him as he leaves.

Truth is I would never say no to spending time with him, just like I never stop him holding me the way he does or getting close to me, any chance I get to be close to him or just be around him I take. Jeff is the certain some one who make Raw my favourite place to be, I get on with most of the roster but Jeff and I are really close so much so that I can talk to him about anything. Looking at the photo he took once more I can't help but wish that there was a different meaning behind it.

After the show

Changing into a t shirt and shorts I set my laptop on the bed ad begin to download the photos from my camera, once done I send the photo Jeff requested to him and then proceed to sort through the other.

Just as I reach the shots that Jeff had taken of me there is a knock at the door, walking over I open it to find Jeff standing there in shorts, a tank top and a beautiful smile. I let him in and he walks over and plops himself on the bed.

When I get over to bed he grabs hold of me pulling me down and positioning me so that I am sat between his legs with my back resting against his solid chest, again something he always does and like I said any chance to be close to him.

I pull my laptop up on to my knee and he looks over my shoulder at the screen.

"You lied to me" he says "you said you weren't photogenic"

"I'm not these shots are awful" I chuckle

"How do you not see it?" he asks tightening his arms around me

"See what?" I ask enjoying his embrace maybe a little too much

"How beautiful you are" he says and I turn my head to look at him

"Y...you think I'm beautiful" I ask looking straight into his hazel eyes and almost losing my self in them

"y/n I think you are incredibly beautiful" he says as he turns me around so that I am straddling his lap "haven't you ever wondered why I always want you close to me?" he asks

"I..I just thought you were being friendly" I say, chuckling he reaches up and tucks my hair behind my ear

"It's because I like you, a lot" he smiles as his hands run up my legs stopping at my hips "I have done since the first time I saw you"

I don't say anything I just lean down and gently press my lips against his something I have been dying to do for so long, he returns the kiss wrapping one arm around my waist and placing his other hand on the back of my head pulling me closer to him and deepening the kiss.

"will you be mine y/n?" he asks breathlessly breaking the kiss and resting his head against mine

"Yes" I reply "I've always been yours Jeff" 

"now I can look at my phone and know that beautiful woman is mine" he smiles

"What?" I ask taken aback by what he said, reaching over to the bedside table her grabs his phone and shows me the screen and my jaw drops.

The photo he had taken, the one he asked me to send him, he had set it as the wallpaper on his phone, he had claimed me as his before he had even asked me and I couldn't be happier.
