Kate POV

"Do you think you guys would want tea or something?" Linda asks me

"I'm not sure, but thanks for agreeing to this," I say shyly

"Oh, It's no problem. I'm glad your already bringing friends home," She says

"Yeah, we just reunited today, so I guess everyone wants to catch up with me," I tell her as she smiles

"That's nice, maybe Haily can join you," Linda says with a gloomy expression on her face

"She's taken Max's death pretty hard," she mutters as I nod

"I heard from (Y/N) that they were twins," I ask as she laughs

"Oh yes, they were Twins. They looked the same, only difference was one was a girl and the other a boy," she says laughing

"The best part is, the only similarity they had were their looks. Their personalities were completely different," she says as tears start to swell out of her eyes.

I felt bad for her...I haven't known her for long, but Linda seems like a really good person.

When I think of Jenn, my heart breaks...I guess it's the same for her...maybe even worse.

"I'm sorry," I say as she laughs and wipes her tears up

"It's fine, you did nothing wrong," she says, looking at me with her calm and caring eyes.

"Ask Haily if she would like to join your sleep over, I'm sure it would be good for her," she says as nod

Linda left my room and probably went to the kitchen.

I guess I should ask Haily.

I went upstairs to Haily's bedroom and knocked.

"Coming," I hear a quiet voice as she opens the door.

I had never really looked at Haily before. But she looked a lot like Linda.

She was also really pretty and cute...I was speechless for a little while

"Do you need something?" She asks me in a shy quiet voice

"I'm sorry to interrupt...I have some friends coming over and I was wondering if you wanted to join us?" I ask her as she thinks for a little bit.

"Maybe...give me some time to think," she says slowly, closing her door.

I guess that's a no.

The doorbell went off and I hear Linda yell "coming!"

Those must be my friends.

I walk down stairs and I see them all entering the house.

Linda was greeting them and I directed them toward my room

"Nice house," Himiko (Jam) says I shut the door to my room

"Thanks, I was adopted by them yesterday," I tell them as their eyes widen a little. I guess (Y/N) didn't tell them anything.

I told them my experiences over the past couple days...I decided to leave the fact that I almost jumped off the school's roof from them though.

"Wow, (Y/N) really did through," Himiko says as I nod

"Yeah...he did," I say smiling

"He is like your knight in shining armour like James is to me!" Riley (Fuji) says

"Yeah...he really was," I say as I start dreaming about him.

He is everything I expected him to be. Kind. Caring. Handsome. Welcoming...everything I could have wanted.
