(Y/N) POV
I fly through the air as Lightning and the sound of thunder follows. When the gap between me and the guy, who is projecting dark mist, is fully closed, with all my might I haul my Longsword into his body.
"You're dead," I yell as my sword cuts through him like paper. I fall to the ground and land on my feet as I look at the man as he dies.
But he just stands there...he didn't even move when I slashed him. I look at the cut I made and sure enough, it's not there...I hit him right?
"Who might you be," He mutters as I look at him. He had blond hair and a big scar on the right side of his face. He was wearing clothing from Gun Gale Online.
"A shooter?" I ask
"No," He says as his dark mist starts making its way to me
"The hell," As I just swipe it way with my sword. He looks confused as if it's not doing what he expected
"Why are you not affected," he mumbles
"Whatever, I'll do this the hard way," He says as the mist becomes physical. It curls into fists and they start getting launched at me. I wasn't expecting this...not at all. The first one hits as it stuns me. The 2nd knocks the air off of me, and the 3rd did the deed of knocking me out.
30 Minutes Later
"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" I hear a girl scream
"Shut up will you, you're hurting my ears," I say before I open my eyes. I see Asuna hovering over me and Kirito is beside her.
"Oh, the two love birds really do care about me," I tease as I smirk. I quickly get another punch in the gut from Asuna.
I start coughing as I'm once again breathless
"That hurts ya know," I stumble out between coughs
"Hmph," Asuna says as she gets up and looks around
"What happened," I ask weakly as I get up. Kirito thinks for a bit
"I don't know how to phrase this," He says
"Come on can't be too bad," I say laughing
"We're stuck in here for 200 years," He says plainly
"Haha, nice joke," I say as I get up from the ground
"Seriously," Kirito says
"Seriously?" I ask
"Seriously," He conforms
"Um, uh...what?" I say confused as a mix of emotions start running through me
"We didn't make it," Kirito says
"Make what? What's going on?" I say confused
"I guess you don't know anything," Kirito says
"Nope not a thing," I say
"Long story short. You're in a machine that extracts your soul and puts it in a virtual world. That's the basic explanation. Anyway, unlike the others, we are connected directly to the servers, so we can't just be disconnected and we can't log out without a control panel. Someone speed up time in this world, and by the time they fix it, 200 years will have passed," Kirito explains simply. I'm sure he dumbed it down a fair bit
"So? How much time will pass in the real world?" I ask
"20 minutes," He says
"So that's what? 10 years in here for 1 minuite in the real world," I ask
