BILLIE rode her bike as far as she could. She screamed her lungs out in isolated areas. Rode quietly in built up areas. This is what she needed. A break.
She rode until she made it to the place that made her safe. Frank took her and Carl here quite often. It was her safe space.
As she lay on the concrete looking up into the sky, she felt her phone buzz.

And with that, she stood up from the floor and got back onto her bike.
She rode back to her house with the biggest smile on her face, forgetting what had happened merely hours before.
As she got back onto her street. She decided to pay Q a visit and tell him the good news.
She knocked on his door, no one answered for a while, till Q opened the door.
"I just came to tell you something." She said as her mood started to lighten up.
"Yeah? What is it?" He asked with a small smile.
"A record label asked so sign with me." She said excitedly.
"Omg Billie that's fucking amazing!" He said and picked Billie up and spun her around. "Congratulations baby girl." He said and put her down.
"Thank you." Billie said and looked up at him.
"I love you." Q said out of the blue.
"What?" Billie asked stunned.
"I love you. Your beautiful blue eyes, you're cheeks, you're nose, every part of you." He said stroking each part of her as he said them.
"I love you too." Billie whispered.
At that moment, the two's lips collided with one another's.
"I gotta get home, but, I'll talk to you tomorrow, ok?" She said with a smile.
"Of course baby." Q answered.
"See ya, love you." She called
"Love you more baby girl." He called out then closed the door.
Billie stood in front of his front door, processing everything that happened. A wide smile began to grow on her face as she walked away down the stairs of his front door.
Out of instinct, she began to walk closer to the Gallagher house, but stopped right before the gate, remembering.
She looked up at Carl's room, trying to remember the good memories. She saw Carl already looking at her.
As they connected eyes, she walked backwards a few steps, then broke the eye contact they had just connected, walking back to her house.
Billie opened the door with both heartache and happiness. She walked upstairs and slowly opened Kev and V's door to check if they were still awake. To her luck. They were.
"Hey kid." Kev said as he looked up from his phone.
"Hey, I have some news that i received like, 20 minutes ago but I had to tell you in person." Billie said with a smile.
Worry started to fill the couples face. Billie walked further into their room.
"Finneas just texted. A record label heard Ocean Eyes and they want to sign with me." Billie said his and excited laughter at the end. The couple shot up from their bed in shot and ran over the the girl. They both hugged her at the same time whilst congratulating her.
"That's so amazing!" V spoke as she pulled away from the hug.
"That's really great kid." V said pulling away as well. There was a moment of silence between the family before V continued to talk.
"So, have you talked to Carl since the argument?" V asked with sorrow in her voice.
"No, but I went to Q's to tell him and when I left, out of instinct, I started to walk to their house but stopped in front of the gate. I looked up at his room and he was already sitting there looking at me. Eventually I just walked away." Billie said and shrugged.
"I'm sorry Billie." Kev said as he stroked her hair and pulled her in for a side hug. "I know it must be hard not talking to him." V added.
"Eh." Billie spoke with a sigh. "I'm going to go to bed now since it's almost 1." Billie finished with a laugh.
"Ok sweetie, goodnight. And congratulations, you deserve it." V said as she hopped back in bed.
"Gnight kid." Kev finished and Billie walked out of the room and back to hers with a smile on her face.
Billie ended up falling asleep with her notebook in her hands as she was writing. It was a new song she was making, she liked to call it, COPYCAT.
