BILLIE LOOKED AT HER PHONE AND SIGHED AS SHE LOOKED AT IT.

"Who is it?" Carl asked as he watched her.

"Q..." Billie sighed as she looked at the messages.

That's when Carl took the phone from Billies hand. He scanned her phone for a second, looking at the texts. He was so hurt that he had been treating her this way, and he didn't know.

Q

Q
I miss you
Will you at least reply?
Can u send?

Q
Cmon baby
Don't be a pussy I just grabbed u ffs

"I'm sorry." He muttered as he turned the phone off in his hand.

Billie stared off out the window. Thinking.

"Not your fault." She replied. Coldly.

"Yes. It is. I should've been there, I should've do-"

He was cut off by Billie grabbing his face, making him turn to her.

"No. You couldn't have. You didn't know. It's not your fault." She reassured him and let go.

She turned around and sat at the edge of the bed. Putting her clothes back on.

"I guess..." He whispered. Still, not sure.

Billie eventually got her clothes back on, the two stared outside into the moonlight, feeling free.

"I should probably go, Kev and V are probably wondering where I am." She spoke and left the room. She felt like the needed to get out.

Billie walked down the stairs with the feeling of upset, the feeling you get, when a party's over.

She tried to cover the hickeys on her neck as best she could with her hoodie. Not well, but it did the job, to the most it could.

She walked into the kitchen where Ian and Trevor sat at the table, eating some pizza.

"Hey, Billie." Ian said between bites.

"Hey Ian." She replied and opened the fridge. She grabbed out a beer and walked over to the table.

"And hello cute boy Ian is with." Billie smiled as she took a bite from a piece of their pizza.

"Billie, this is Trevor, Trevor, this is Billie, she's our neighbour, lives with Kev and V. And Trevor is my boyfriend." He told her.

"Well hello Trevor." Billie greeted him and held out her hand as the piece of pizza hung out her mouth.

"Nice hickeys." Trevor laughed as Billie walked away from the table.

"Thank you." Billie laughed.

"How are things with Q?" Ian asked Billie.

"Me and him broke u-" She stopped herself. "We're great." She spoke.

Trevor and Ian gave each other a questionable look.

"Didn't you just say you broke up?" Trevor asked.

"Nope." She said a bit too quickly.

"Mhm. So if those aren't Q's, who's are they, Billie?" He asked.

"No one's, their mine, I-, hair straightener." She blurted out as she quickly thought of an excuse.

She wondered why this always happened to her.

"And you've just been upstairs with a certain Gallagher." Ian laughed.

"Mmmm noooooope." She said.

"WAIT!" He exclaims, sounding like he's figured something out. "Remember that time you came downstairs with a bunch of hickeys on your neck as we were eating dinner?" He spoke.

"Noooope." She said again, this time, a bit louder.

"What goin' on?" Lip asked as he walked down the stairs with damp hair.

"Well, Billie here-" Billie cut him off as she covered his mouth.

"Ian." She said, pleading with him.

He tried to talk again.

"Ian." She repeated. This time, seriously.

He took the hint and stopped talking. "Nothing." He told Lip.

"Ok. Well, Carl is just asleep up there with nothing on, like his boxers were on the floor. Weird kid he is." Lip laughed as he grabbed himself a water.

Ian burst out laughing, along with Trevor. Billie squinted her eyes and rubbed them.

"Well I'm going now." Billie said, out of the blue.

"See ya!" Ian said, still laughing his ass off.

Billie flipped him off as she left.

"The fuck was that about?" Lip asked as he saw the door shut behind Billie.

Ian took in a breath to start talking, but was quickly shut down by Trevor.

"Ian, she asked you not to." Trevor whispered to Ian.

Ian rolled his eyes at him. "Fine." He sighed in defeat.

"Ok then." Lip laughed.

As Billie lay in bed. Thinking to herself about everything that just happened. Suddenly, a wave of sadness fell over her as she remembered Q.

She picked her phone back up and reread the texts. Her heart hurting each time. She didn't want to respond, but knew, eventually, she would cave. But, today is not that day.

She put her phone down and grabbed her book. blurting out everything that just happened.

She'd eventually wrote a few lines, feeling happy with them. She put her book away and fell asleep, getting a rest she really needed.

Don't you know too much already?

I'll only hurt you if you let me

Call me friend but keep me closer

And i'll call you when the party's over

Quiet when i'm coming home and i'm on my own

I could lie say i like it like that, like it like that.
