"GOTTA HEAD HOME. Kev and V asked me to watch the girls for the day." Billie said as Carl woke up and she put her hoodie on.

"Mmmmkay." Carl said as he rolled over, still half asleep.

And with that Billie left. She spent majority of the day looking after the girls and watching some TV.

As nightfall fell around. She got a knock on her door.

She walked downstairs and opened it. It was Carl.

"I'm out." He said with the happiest smile she saw from him in weeks.

"What?" Billie asked as she was still slightly confused.

"I'm out of the game!" He said.

"No fucking way." Billie said as a smile began to grow on her face.

She grabbed him and the two shared a hug.

"I have to go back, Fiona wants to take out the fucken braids." Carl laughed.

"Yep, let me grab my phone. Also thank god for her." Billie joked.

*earlier in the day back at the Gallagher house*

Carl and Sean set off to find the people Carl work with to get him out of the game.

"Sean, you don't have to be doing this." Carl told Sean as they drove up to them.

"Your sister's worried about you. Let's see if we can fix this." Sean told Carl as he parked the car.

"Doubt it." Carl replied.

"That him?" Sean asked.

"Yep."

Suddenly, all four doors opened from the black BMW and for African American men walked out of the car.

"That's the guy you've been working for?" Sean asked as he was slightly afraid.

Carl nodded his head in response.

"I thought you told Fiona it was a few kids on the corner." Sean spoke.

Carl didn't say anything but hopped out of the car.

"Oh, shit." Sean spoke as Carl shut the door.

"Heyo, what up?" Carl said walking towards the main man.

"Yo, you playing Houdini on me?" The man asked as he got up very close to Carl.

"Nah." Carl responded.

"Hey, you weren't at the spot this morning. Lamar said some old dude showed up instead." The man spoke. As soon as he finished, they heard the car door close.

"You good, Carl?" Sean asked as he made his way up to the group.

"Who this, your daddy?" The man asked talking a step back from Carl.

"Friend." Sean spoke.

"I'm done." Carl said getting to the point.

"Oh, so, we about to stomp both of you all out, huh?" The man said laughing a bit.

"Come on, he worked for you a little while, and now he wants to retire. Let's just leave it at that." Sean pleaded with the man.

The man scoffed. "Retire? I guess you want to cash out your 401k plan, too, huh?" The man said mockingly. "Cant be roaming wild, spilling trade secrets." He added.

"He didn't spill when he was doing time. Could've pointed a finger, reduced his sentence?" Sean spoke.

"How do I know you won't go work for the competition?" The man asked Carl.
