BILLIE AND CARL woke up the next morning to Sean making breakfast. They decided to leave before Fiona woke up to avoid questions she might ask.

They thanked Sean, and headed off somewhere Carl wanted to go, but wouldn't tell Billie.

During the cold hours of the morning, the two walked across a piece of unowned land with a shovel in Carl's hand.

"What are we doing here?" Billie asked Carl as he started to dig.

"You'll see." He replied giving a vague answer.

Eventually, Carl stopped digging and grabbed a dirty duffle bag.

He picked it up and walked off. Billie followed.

Carl started to open the bag, Billie saw thousands of dollars in the bag.

"For the house." He explained. "We're going to Patsys to give Fiona the money." Carl finished.

"Jesus. Well at least you're putting the money to good use and not something fucking dumb." Billie laughed.

"You've got a good point there." Carl joked and they walked to patsys.

The two walked into the restaurant and found Fiona. Without saying a word, Carl threw the bag on the table.

"Dug it up." He said flatly

"What the hell is this?" Fiona asked.

Both Billie and Carl just looked down at the bag, hinting for Fiona to open it. And so, she did. She looked inside and rummaged through the money

"Buy back the house, Fiona." Billie said.

And with that, the two left. Not knowing where to go or what to do. They just walked and talked about everything they missed out on with each other.

"So, what've you been up to?" Carl asked with his hands in his pockets.

"Uh well. I've started writing and producing music. One of which got some attention. Getting signed to a record label in a couple weeks. Finneas is flying out for it." Billie spoke as they walked.

Carl stopped in his tracks.

"What?" Billie asked him as she turned around to look at him.

"Look, I know we were fighting but you didn't think to tell me that." Carl said as he threw his arms in the air and continued to walk.

Billie laughed at him. "I mean, I did. A lot. But I didn't really know if you would've listened or not or you would've walked away. I didn't know." Billie explained.

"Fair. I probably would've walked away anyways." Carl laughed. "So what is this said song called?" Carl asked.

"Ocean Eyes. It's on Soundcloud. Finneas wrote and produced the whole thing, I just had to sing to it." Billie explained to Carl.

He pulled up his phone and went into the app.

"No. I do not want to be here as you're listening to it." Billie laughed.

"I don't care. I'm listening to it." Carl disregarded Billie.

It started to play and he just listened, with no emotions. Didn't say a word. Didn't move to the beat. Nothing.

As the song finished. He put his phone away and stopped.

"Billie. That was fucking incredible." He smiled.

"Really? I don't know..." Billie said hesitantly.

"Yes." He reiterated. "It's fucking amazing Billie."

"Thank you." Billie spoke.

"You have any others?" He asked.

"Yeah, I've written a couple, produced a few. None that are done yet though." Billie stated.

"Well, tell me when they are and I'll check 'em out." Carl nudged Billie.

"Will do." Billie laughed.

"What's going on with you and Dom?" Billie asked after thinking about it for a while.

"I haven't talked to her much since we haven't been at school, but yeah, we've been ok." Carl said. "How about Q?" He asked.

Right as he said that, her mind went to what had happened. Remembering the pain she indured. her hands became sweaty and shaky. As her breathing picked up, she was brought back to reality, Carl stood in front of her as he called her name.

"Billie?" He asked waving his hand in front of her face.

As she gained back consciousness, she started to talk.

"Oh sorry. What did you ask again?" She asked Carl who was quite concerned.

"I just asked how you and Q we're going. Is there something going on." He asked.

"N-no, I-i um, no there's nothing." Billie stuttered.

Carl thought about it for a little bit. "Mkay." He said as he still didn't believe her.

The two stayed silent after what had happened. Billie was just trying to not have a panic attack.

"You okay?" Carl asked after a while.

Billie looked down at her hands, trying so desperately not to cry. Fortunately for her, no tears fell.

As her head still hung down, looking at the ground. She felt a hand gently pulling her chin up.

"Hey, it's ok. You're with me. You're alright." He told Billie as he softly smiled.
