I woke up with a happy feeling, because it's game day and today is also my... birthday. I sighed with a relief. God I'm so happy till I thought about Miles, Finn's brother. No no no, let's leave the bad things out and enjoy the day.
I got out of bed and walked over to my closet. I dressed into my gym shorts with a Nike shirt then stuff a ruffle bag with my football needs and my jersey.
I grabbed my other needs then walked out to the restroom.
I did everything I need to do.
I started walking to the cafe to meet up with Kade to eat some breakfast, while I was walking people said happy birthday to me, I really appreciate everyone.
"Birthday boy!" Kade exclaimed when he spotted me.
I couldn't help to smile and hug him. Kade has been great to me, he's like my best friend now.
"Come on let's eat something." I felt embarrassed because it's my birthday, people will be all over me comforting me or whatever.
We sat down and ate biscuits and some fruit.
"Are you ready for the game?" Kade took a bite of his biscuit.
"Hell yeah." I smiled looking up till somebody covered my eyes behind me.
"Guess who." I hear that sweet voice, that I always love.
"Riley." I chuckled as she took her hands off of my eyes.
"Yep." she giggled and kissed me on my cheek then sat next to me.
"Happy birthday!" She exclaimed and hugged me while I had my biscuit in my hands.
I kept laughing because she was hilarious when she screamed.
"Come on let's eat." I said smiling.
"Okay." she smiled as she saw Kade who is eating the heck out of his biscuit.
Wish us luck.

We finally made it, in the locker room. Riley was here also to watch me play.
We all started to get ready, I was in my uniform and shield, I felt tight and ready to hit something.
We gathered and pray which we do on game days then head out to the field. The field was large and open, I just couldn't wait.

We were winning, I feel excited and tough at the same same, one more touchdown, just one more.
"Down. Set. Hut!" I yelled at Kade and before you know it the ball was in my arms. I started running left and dodged a couple of guys, I was almost there, the touchdown. That's when it happen, the pain shotted up on my side, I fell on the hard, a guy has tackled me, too hard.
I laid there motionless, I began to see dots and blurriness, my side fucking hurts. I began to think about my life. All I hear is muffle yelling, guys were all over me. I couldn't feel my body, I feel paralyzed. I closed my eyes, and passed out.

^Riley's p.o.v^

"Oh my god!" I screamed when I saw my Jax getting hit and he was injured, I am crying really hard right now. I wanted to see him.
"Mam, please come with me." a guy with a yellow shirt who works here got my attention.
I nodded and got out of the crowd. The guy brought me into the locker room.
"How is he?Is he okay?" I looked around.
"Um, I don't know how to say this but he has amnesia." he explained, I paused and looked at him.
"That thing where you lost all your memories?" I looked at him, he purse his lips and nodded. I cried even harder. Is he gonna remember me? Is he gonna remember Kevin, no no this is not suppose to happen. I heard cheering outside like if someone won.
"Can I see him?" I calmed down a bit.
"Yeah, he might not remember you right now but later on he will receive his memories back, if you just show him some familiar things hopefully." He explained. I nodded at whatever I needed to know then he brought me into the room where Jax is.
He was shirtless in bed with a strap around his stomach. He looked really bad, he was bruised up and sweaty.
"Hey." I introduced as I walked over beside his bed while he is in it.
"Do I know you?" He asked smiling and furrowing his brows.
"I'm Riley, your girlfriend..." I looked at him into his eyes, to see if he knows.
He stood there, looking at me blankly.
"I wish I remember, but unfortunately no." He shook his head, I started crying because he doesn't remember me. What about the good memories we did and with Kevin. Jaxon looked around the room acting confused.
"Riley?" Kade peeked behind the door. I rose my arms up for a hug, he fully came in and gave me a hug. I felt better.
"I'm sorry if I made you cried, but I do know you." Jaxon pointed at Kade. I let go of Kade and let him talk.
"Really?" He asked, Jaxon nodded, I want to hug him and kiss him so bad, but I don't want him to feel like I'm a stranger.
"Yep." Jaxon nodded. "So what are we gonna do now."
"I don't know, but we won the game!" Kade exclaimed.
"Haha good!" I exclaimed with him and hugged him again.
"Where's Kevin?" We paused and looked at him. I didn't expect him to remember Kevin or anything. I bit my bottom lip to keep myself crying.
"Um, he's dead." Kade explained.
"What the hell! how?" Jaxon tried to sit up but he groaned in pain and laid back down.
"He was murdered, you tried to save him." I explained, Jaxon suddenly jumped.
"Yeah I see it." he purse his lips and closed his eyes for a bit.
"Sorry to disturb, but you are free to go." The medic noted us then left.
"Well, I guess we go back to the campus." I smiled a little.
"I'll be right out." Kade tapped my shoulder and walked out of the room, leaving me and Jaxon alone.
"Here, I'll help you put your shirt on." I grabbed his shirt, and gently put it on him.
After that I put his shirt on, I helped him out of bed.
"Ugh." he groaned as he stood up on his feet.
"Come on, let's go." I pronounced, he wrapped his arm around me and I helped him out.
We stood at the door and saw Kade.
"Here I got him, just get his stuff." Kade grabbed Jaxon's arm and put it around him.
I sighed as I felt empty-handed.
I walked into the locker room where everyone already changed and left. It smelt like sweaty dogs and dirty socks which is disgusting.
I grabbed Jax's duffle bag and stuffed his personal stuff in there. I thought about the memories that me and Jax had wasted. I felt desperate and sad. I felt my eyes watering. A tear rolled down on my cheek.
"You okay?" I heard Kade behind, suddenly I sniffed and wiped my cheeks.
I turned around and see Kade there looking at me to see I'm fine.
"Yeah, I'm totally fine. " I faked a smile and started to break down. I couldn't help it, I feel bad for Jaxon.
"Hey hey, I'm here for you." Kade murmured and hugged me. I felt comforted and protected, I'm glad Kade is here to help me with Jax.
I nodded in his shoulder then looked into his eyes.
"Come on let's get out of here." he smiled and kissed my forehead, I smiled alittle and walked out with him. I hope Jaxon gets his memories back.
