Chapter 21

✯Evan's Pov✯
I saw darkness and my shoulder is fucking painful right now.
I opened my eyes and discovered that I was in a hospital room. I looked at the clock 11 am.
First thing I thought was Taissa.
"Taissa" I tried to get up my shoulder still hurts, I laid back down.
I looked over to the side and see Taissa sleeping on the other side of the room.
"Taissa?" I called out for her.
She stayed asleep.
I looked down and see bandages all over my right shoulder.
I had cords all over me.
"Hello" I looked straight at the door.
The doctor came in.
"Is she okay?" I looked at Taissa.
"She has been in coma for 2 days, you too, I guess your the first one who woke up." he told me.
"I need to get close to her" I started to tear up.
"Alright" doc came closer and pushed the bed closer to Taissa.
"Taissa" I pushed her hair out of her face.
I pulled the blanket off and see her bandages on her left thigh.
"Jesus, Taissa" I cried.
I tried to get up, and ignored the pain.
"Sir, please lay down." the doctor gently push me down.
"Please get out" I told him.
"Alright I'll leave you alone but don't get up you will tear your stitches" doc warned me and walked outside.
"You will be okay" I whispered into her ear. I held Taissa's hand and laid down.
I went to sleep to forget the pain.
✯Few hours✯
I woke up and looked at the time. 3 pm.
I groaned.
I looked at Taissa, still asleep.
I looked around and realized my food is here
I opened it and it was a peanut butter jelly sandwich.
I picked up the sandwich and ate it.
While I ate, I heard Taissa groan.
I pushed the table and looked at Taissa.
"Tai?" I put my hand on her head.
"It hurts" she whimpered.
"Okay okay I'll get nurse" I pressed the button quickly.
"Nurse?!" I yelled out.
I looked at Tai holding onto the handle trying not to cry.
"Your gonna be okay" I pet my hand on her head.
The nurse came in fast.
"What's the problem?" She asked placing her hand on Tai's back.
"She says it hurts" I looked at her whimpering.
"I'll give you some medicine" the nurse rushed outside.
"Does it hurt?" I asked.
"Hell it does" she looked at me smiling alittle then wincing.
The nurse came back in and gave her some pills.
"That good?" She asked.
"It hurts alittle but, it's getting better." Taissa nod, the nurse left the room.
Taissa looked at my shoulder.
"Jesus you okay?" she looked at me.
"It doesn't hurt" I scoffed, I was lying.
"But, you got shot in your thigh" I grabbed her hand.
"Yeah, I know" she groaned.
"I'm glad your okay" I placed my hand on her cheek.
"Yeah" she tried to get up, but she can't.
"Be careful" I flinched.
"Yeah I'm fine, it just burns and tight" she looked at me.
The doctor came in.
"Well, I heard your awake" he said.
"Yeah" Taissa nod.
"How do you feel?" Doc walked over beside her.
"Hell" she told him.
"Well Evan you can leave tomorrow but Taissa has to stay for a couple of days" doc looked at me.
Tai looked at me too.
"Oh do I get a arm holder?" I joked around.
"Yeah, so you won't move your arm or shoulder too much till it heals" he informed me.
"Yeah okay" I nod.
"We will bring you two some food in a few minutes" doc left.
"Well what do you want to do now?" I looked at Taissa.
"I don't watch tv?" She said. I grabbed the remote next to and turned on the tv. Lots of news that we have been shot by Mason Gamble and Mason Gamble getting killed.
"Shit" Taissa was suprised.
"Can you get my phone?" She pointed at the table with her phone on it.
I reached my left arm to the phone. I grabbed it and have it to Taissa.
"Thanks" she smiled alittle.
She called Vera and told her she was okay and how the kids are doing and hung up.
The nurse came in with trays of our food.
"Thanks" I watched her put the trays on the table.
"Sure" she smiled, handing my food and Tai's.
I opened it.
Grilled cheese sandwich and some potato chips.
Taissa got the same thing.
After we ate, we stayed in bed and stuff, watched movies, then off to sleep.

Sorry this chapter is boring and everything but oh well.
