Chapter 17

✯Evan's Pov✯
When I woke I realized I slept in. I looked around, Taissa was gone.
The door creaked.
"Tai-"
"Dad!" Jaxon ran to me and hugged, I was startled because I was naked in bed.
"Hey Jax, why don't we come out here while daddy gets ready" Taissa saved me, I winked at her when Jaxon walked out.
I got of the bed putting on some boxers and a t-shirt.
I walked out and see Vera holding Zoe.
"Hey" I smiled and grabbed Zoe.
"What did you guys do when you were with Vera" I asked Jax.
"We went to the Zoo and Saw animals!" He got excited.
"Well that's cool bud" I rubbed his head.
"Well, we have work tomorrow and tomorrow is Jaxon's first day at preschool." Taissa smiled at Jaxon.
"Well, I can babysit Zoe" Vera kept staring at my cast.
"Thanks" Taissa smiled.
"Evan are you okay?" Vera finally talked.
"Yeah don't worry I'm fine, thanks for babysitting" I hugged her.
I snuggled with Zoe while she smiles alittle.
"Well I got to get to work" Vera waved goodbye.
After Vera left, Jaxon asked questions.
"Mommy, are you sad" Jaxon asked Taissa, Taissa looked at me confused, then look at Jaxon.
"Of course not, why?" She kinda lied to Jaxon.
"Because, you have been crying a lot, and I know that" he answered, what the fuck, he is only 3.
"No sweetie, Mommy's fine now" Taissa lied.
Taissa put down Jaxon for nap then heated up a bottle for Zoe.
"Here you go" she handed me Zoe's bottle, then I feed her.
"Hon, why does Jaxon asked questions like that, he's 3" Tia asked me.
"He's a smart kid, I'm pretty sure he was just curious" I told Tia.
When I fed Zoe, I put her in her crib, then walk out.
"This damn cast is annoying!" I groaned.
"Calm down" she put her hand on my neck.
"Sorry" I kissed her.
✯Few hours later✯
A few hours were kinda boring so I decided to get us icecream.
"Alright let's go" I held Jaxon's hand to the car and put him in his seat while Tai gets Zoe in.
✯Ice Cream Place✯
✾Taissa's Pov✾
I was nervous of going to ice cream place because when I was sad about Evan I got my self a boyfriend, his name is Myles, yes that was dumb but I was drunk and everything.
"Alright, we're here!" Jaxon squealed.
Evan got him out and I got Zoe in my arms.
We walked over to the stand.
Myles open the door.
"Taissa!" He was suprised.
Evan looked at me with a confused face.
"Well, I would love to get vanilla ice cream and strawberry syrup." I told him what I want fast, then walk away with Zoe in my arms.
✯Evan's Pov✯
When Taissa walked away, I was confused.
"Hey..uh... Myles, how you know Taissa?" I read his name tag.
"Well, uh were dating" what he said made me angry, but I stayed calm.
"Well come closer" he came closer. I punched him in the face and grabbed his apron and choke him.
"Stay away from Taissa!" I yelled at him.
"Oh my god! Evan!" Taissa ran to me and tried to pull me, but I pushed her and made her fell, and hit her head.
"Mommy?" Jaxon tried to help Taissa up, but she was scared.

Myles finally rest down. Co-workers called the cops and paparazzis were everywhere.
I was bit off of my mine.
I looked at Taissa and Jax.
Jaxon looked at me.
"Bud, I'm sorry" I tried to make him feel safe.
Taissa got up with a red mark other head.
"Why?" She started to tear up.
I looked at Myles, then Taissa.
"I'm sorry" I tried to grabbed her hand but she pulled it away.
"We can't be with you anymore" she said with shakily voice.
"What, no I'm sorry I tried to protect you" I was confused.
"You too dangerous" she held back her tears, then grabbed Jaxon's hand then grabbed Zoe in her carriage, and walk away.
The police came and took me.
✾Emma's Pov✾
After a while my phone rang.
/hello?/
/hey it's Taissa *Sniffs can you pick me up/
/ Okay where are you?/
I drove to the ice cream place and saw her with her kids, I got out and hugged her.
"Oh god, I feel sorry." I told her.
I picked up Jaxon and strapped him in the car while Taissa takes care of Zoe.
I got in with Taissa and drove to my house.
✯Emma's House✯
We finally made it to my house, I carried Jaxon into the house while Taissa gets Zoe.
I continued to hold Jaxon while I sat on the couch.
"Why would Evan do that?" I asked her.
"I don't know" she sniffled.
"Mom, daddy is too dangerous, he just killed a man" Jaxon told his mom.
"Why do you speak, so well even though your 3" Taissa asked.
Jaxon shrugged.
Jaxon sat on my lap.
"Well I gotta feed Zoe" Taissa closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead.
"I'll feed her, just calm down, play with Jax" I handed her Jax, then walk over to Zoe. I got her out of the carriage. I held her to the kitchen heating her bottle. I waited a few minutes then feed her the bottle.
While I was feeding her I walked back to Taissa.
"What's going on between you two" I asked her as I sit on the couch, feeding Zoe.
"He's too dangerous" she choked up, she tried not to cry in front of Jaxon.
I looked at Jaxon, he had that pure look in his eyes like Evan.
"Well what are you gonna do?" I asked.
"Probably go to court" Taissa sighed.
I got up and put Zoe back in her carriage, then walk back in the room.
Jaxon came up at me and cuddled.
I was confused, he barely knows me.
"I'm gonna call my sister and tell her I'm here" she picked up her phone and called, told her everything then hung up.
Jaxon fell asleep in my arms.
"Well" she sniffed.
"Why are you sad?" I looked at her.
"Well when I was drunk I dated this guy Myles and he worked at the ice cream place, Evan found out we were dating, he choked him and now he's dead" she couldn't help to cry.
I gently put Jaxon on the side, without waking.
I hugged Taissa.
"You need to stop crying for once awhile, it's sad" I told her.
"But how" she rubbed her tears away.
"Stay tough, be mad, not sad" I gave her some advice.
Taissa's phone rang, she picked it up.
/Hello/
/Hello this must be Taissa Peters/
/Yes/
/Would you like to make appointment for tomorrow in afternoon in court with Evan Peters?/
/Sure, thanks/ she sniffled.
/Well see you tomorrow/
Taissa hung up.
I peered at her in her eyes, she looked afraid.
"Well, its 8 so you wanna put your kids to sleep?" I looked at the time.
"You can take Jaxon" she closed her eyes and sighed.
"Your fine now" I rubbed her arm, then pick up Jaxon.
I walked to the guest room and put Jaxon into the bed.
Jaxon woke up alittle.
"I don't want to be like dad" Jaxon looked at me.
"You won't" I hope he does not act or be physical like his father.
I walked out and Taissa holding Zoe.
"She's Beautiful" I smiled and looked at Zoe.

After a couple hours, Zoe fell asleep in her carriage.
"Are you tired?" I asked her.
She laid on my lap.
"Yes, I feel so lonely" I looked at her, slowly closing her eyes.
I fell asleep.
