Chapter 99

"Ahh...it feels great out here, I feel much better." Jaxon sucked in some air and let out as we just got out of the hospital.
"Well, what should we do now?" I asked the two while we got into the car.
"Well, Riley I made a reservation for with with emily your best friend from college. While your with her me and Kade are gonna take care of some business." Jaxon explained and I scoffed a little.
"You good Kade?" Jax asked and I look back quickly to see if he is looking at me.
"Uh.. yeah I'm fine." I nodded and chuckled nervously.
"Wait, what's going on?" Riley asked Jaxon as we arrived to the city with Emily waiting for Riley.
"It's okay, just go have fun and everything. When your finish Emily will take you home. Here have some cash." Jaxon told her and lend her some money.
"Bye." I whispered and she waved then got out.
"Alright, you know where to go." Jaxon chuckled and climbed into the front seat.
"Yeah, I know." I really felt annoying with him, I just get so angry easily sometimes, but I held it together because I know it's important that the man takes care of the woman.

**Ring Shop**
^Jax's p.o.v^
I felt great today, I just can't wait till tomorrow because tomorrow will the special day for me and Riley.
"Alright, which one are you going to pick?" Kade sighed and placed his hands on the counter which was filled with expensive jewelry.
I took a deep breath and started tapping my finger on the edge, I was a little concerned.
"You men need some help?" A guy with a British accent asked us looking forward to help us.
"Let's see. I want something that my girlfriend would love. I want a nice perfect ring for her, something I care about her." I explained without looking but looking at the rings.
"Well. I just got the thing for you." the man chuckled and went over to the other side to get the ring. He came back with the most beautiful ring I ever seen. It has one shiny diamonds in the middle and the details were perfect I just can't.
"Oh wow." I grabbed the ring and examined it. It looked absolutely gorgeous, perfect for any girl.
"It's very pretty, how much is it." I snapped at the price because I hope it's not a million dollars.
"We say about $11,000" he told me and I looked at Kade with a face.
"It's a nice ring I guess." Kade shrugged and I smiled.
"Deal." I chuckled proudly and shook the old mans hand. I told him the size and stuff then walked out.
"What now?" I asked him as we got in the car.
"Well I got to do reservations today so let's go to that place with the beautiful decorations." he told me and I sighed. I started the car and drove off.

^^Riley's p.o.v^^

"Wonder what's going on with the guys." I let out as I play with my straw on the ice cubes in my drink.
"Oh something. They are doing something." Em grinned at me and I looked up.
"You know what they are doing?" I asked and she continued to smile and nodded.
"What are they doing?" I grabbed her hand so that she wouldn't let go.
"I can't tell you, it's a secret." she admitted. I groaned a little, I was dying for the secret but can't reveal it.
"Here's your salad ladies." the server gave us our salads and we started eating silently.
"Well, what should we do after?" Em questioned me and I looked at her.
"Well, I guess we could go to the petshop and see some animals." I smiled awkwardly. I sounded like a fucking kid who dying to see animals at the petshop.
"Sure!" Emily exclaimed and I giggled. I took a lot of bites of my salad and so did em.
"Alright, you ladies have a great day." the server gave us a warm smile as we paid.
"Alright, to the petshop!" Em shoved her fist in the air.
"Quit embarrassing me." I whispered and pull her arm down.
"Sorry." she laughed and walked out with me.
We walked by a few stores and got to the petshop. It was rescuing day for dogs and cats.
"Aww look at this dog." I cooed when I saw this beautiful border collie dog, almost the size of Miko.
"She's so adorable." emily chuckled and petted her.
She licked my face and I laughed.
"You should get her." Emily admitted I looked up at her with a smile.
"You think Jaxon will be okay with it?" I asked looking the pretty border collie. She barked and I laughed.
"Oh hell yes." Emily grinned.

^^Jaxon's p.o.v^^

"Alright, don't tell Riley what's happening tomorrow." I slapped Kade's shoulder as we arrived at the apartment. It's now like 9 pm and we are exhausted. I'm sure all of us had a long exhausting day.
"Yeah I know." Kade sighed when we got to the door.
I chuckled and opened the door.
I notice Riley sleeping on the couch with a dog......the dog was black and white, is it someone's lost dog?
The dog's head lift and glared at me. Miko came up beside staring at the dog too.
Suddenly the dog hoped off to meet Miko causing Riley to wake up.
"Mm..oh hey." Riley yawned and rubbed her eyes.
"What's this." I petted the new dog.
"Oh that's Skye, I couldn't help it to...adopt her?" Riley smiled awkwardly and shrugged.
"She looks natural." Kade chuckled when he spotted her.
I looked into Skye's brown eyes and she barked. I couldn't help it but she is adorable.
"She's beautiful." I let out and rubbed behind her ears then rubbed Miko's head.
"So she stays?" Riley looked up at me.
"Oh hell yeah." I muttered against her lips and kissed.
"Well, I'm going to bed. Night." Kade sighed and went upstairs.
I continued to kiss Riley on the couch.
"Hey, I'm tired. let's get to bed." Riley placed her hand on my chest.
"Yeah, I'll be there." I nodded and got out of the way.
Riley giggled and walked up the stairs to the room. I plopped into the couch and took a deep breath.
I looked at the two dogs sniffing and socializing at the same, they are adorable being together.
"I hope yall have a good time being together." I smirked at the dogs and got off the couch and hit the stairs.
I walked into the room and hopped into the bed with Riley causing her to fall off.
"Oh god." I laughed as she stood up and glared at me.
"Ow." she muttered and crawl back into the bed.
"I'm sorry babe." I cuddled with her and whispered against her neck.
"What's up with you." she chuckled and looked at me.
"Okay. Sorry, lets go to bed. We have a busy day tomorrow." I told her as I relaxed on the bed staring at the ceiling.
"What kind of busy day?" She questioned me.
"We'll see." I smiled without looking at her.
