Chapter 22

✯Evan's Pov

"Alright, I guess your ready to leave" doc told me.
He gave the arm strap thing whatever you call it.
"Don't put to much pressure on your shoulder" he reminded me.
"Yeah yeah whatever" I looked at him.
"Alright you free to go" he smiled and left.
"Well this sucks" I looked at Tai.
"Yeah, I wish I can come with you" Taissa started to get sad, I can tell by her eyes watering a little.
"Don't worry, you will in two days" I moved her hair out of her face.
"Yeah I guess so." she glared at me.
"Well, I should go and check on Vera and the kids" I told her.
"Alright, tell her I said hey" she smiled alittle.
"I'll be back" I smiled and kissed her forehead.
I got out of the bed and walking out the door.
"Be safe" I winked at her, then walk out.
I walked outside and paparazzis were everywhere.
"Evan! one question!" They yelled.
"Fuck your selfs" I crawled into the car, turned the engine and drove away with one hand.
✯Vera's House✯
I opened the door and got out.
I walked up to her door and knocked with my left arm.
Vera opened the door.
"Jesus Evan, I heard you got shot and Taissa too" Vera noticed my shoulder, and let me in.
Jaxon ran up to me and hugged me.
"Hey buddy how are you doing?" I looked down at him.
"You got shot?" He pointed at my shoulder.
"Yeah" I picked him up with my good arm and carried him to the couch, and sat down with him on my lap.
"Is Tai okay?" Vera asked me right away.
"Yeah she's okay, she's staying at the hospital for two days" I played with Jaxon's arms.
"You need some ice, I bet your arm is really sore" Vera asked me getting up.
"Yeah thanks" I nod.
"Where's Zoe?" I asked her from the couch.
"She's just taking a nap." She walked back with the ice.
"Thanks" I smiled a little, grabbing the ice in a towel.
I joyfully, softly threw Jaxon over the side.
I placed the ice on my right shoulder.
"Ahh, much better" I relaxed on the couch.
"Why would anybody shoot you and Tai" I noticed Vera gritted her teeth. I gulp, looking a Jax.
"Hey bud, why don't you go and hang in another room" I placed my hand on his shoulder.
"Okay" without looking, he left into another room.
"Well, I don't know?" I moved my forehead.
Vera looked at me.
"His name is Mason Gamble, I know he is famous" I was thinking why he shot me.
"What did he do or say?" She asked me.
I shrugged my left shoulder.
"I was unconscious, I can't remember" I thought harder.
"Well, I'll give you time" Vera got up, went into the kitchen.
"Want some corn dogs?" Vera asked behind me.
"I'm sure Jaxon would like some" I chuckled as I continue to throb my right shoulder.
I grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. After a few minutes Jax came back out, and sat next to me.
"What is she cooking?" Jaxon looked at Vera.
"Corn dogs your fav" I chuckled.
"Alright" he smiled.
After a while the corndogs were ready.
I got up, walked into the kitchen, grabbed a corn dog.
✯Few hours later after eating lunch✯
"Do you want to see Taissa?" I asked Vera.
"Um, yeah sure, we can take the kids too." Vera started looking around for her purse.
"Alright Jaxon, put on some boots, were gonna see mom" I rubbed his wavy blonde hair.
I put my shoes back on.
"Alright, I got Zoe" Vera walked out of the guest room.
"Hey Zoe" I looked at her while she is in Vera's arm.
"Alright let's go."
✯At the hospital✯
"Hey Tai" I knocked on the door, slowly opening.
I saw her sitting up.
"I finally say up" she smiled.
"Taissa" Vera put Zoe down in her carriage, then run to Taissa and hug.
Jaxon stepped aside next to me.
✯Hours later✯
We hung out and everything, Vera left me with Jaxon and Zoe at the hospital in the room with Taissa, Jaxon slept in the couch bed, I slept on the bed that I had today and Zoe slept in a baby bed where newborns are placed.
