Reality Sucks || Book 1

Chapter 97

It's been a few minutes since the fire started, and Kade has not been seen. I'm kinda getting worried, what if people kidnapped him or he ran off or even maybe got lost.
"God, where are you?" I muttered, Riley looked at me.
"Maybe we should go find him." Riley whispered to me, and looked at the fire crackling.
"Yeah, I'm kinda worried." I continued to look around, the woods, the lake, all over the place. I don't see him anywhere.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Finn approached behind us whispered to us.
"Kade is missing." I told him, looking around.
Finn looked at the trees of the woods.
"He's probably in the woods." he announced, and swallowed loudly.
"Come on, three of us can go find him." Riley said and we agreed with her. I'm kinda nervous because I don't want shit happening, I want a good life and I never had one. I've been through a lot, I can't say; I mean I have a lot of scars all over and I broke several bones in my body, I'm used to it now.
"We need to separate." Finn let out as we were in the middle of the woods.
"Riley's with me and your alone." I told him and nodded. I would never let Riley be with Finn, it's not safe at all.
"Alright. I'll call out for you when I see him." he nodded and ran off the other way.
"Kade!" Riley called out, no response but her voice echoed through the woods.
I thought I saw something move in the corner of my eye.
I quickly turned around, nothing. Just trees and leaves in a hot summer.
"What? You see him?" Riley asked me.
"No, nothing." I sigh and continued walking with Riley.
After 30 minutes we heard someone running, was it Finn or Kade? We started running to the noise that was shuffling and running.
When we got close the shuffling stopped.
Riley and I looked around quickly, checking out surroundings in case.
"What is it?" Riley whispered to me, I said I don't know and continued looking around.
Someone jumped out of no where and jumped onto me, causing me to fall on the ground. I groaned and struggled to get the person off of me.
"Who's this?" I reviled his face, it was Kade.
"Jaxon don't move he's got a knife against your neck." Riley warned me and I startled a little when I heard that he has a knife against my neck.
"Kade, it's me Jaxon." I stood still till I get his response.
"Oh yeah, sorry. A couple of drunk strong guys accidentally kidnapped me, but I grabbed their knife and left them somewhere." Kade explained and got off, helping me off the ground.
I swiped off my trunks and patted his shoulder.
"I'm glad your okay." I smiled widely and looked at Riley who is wrapping her arms around herself like she was a little cold.
"Hey, finally we found you. Now let's go back to the bonfire." Finn said as he approaches us.
We laughed and joined together. We got back to the bonfire while people were doing charades, which was fun.
We ate smores, played games, and beer pong. We were all tired including Miko who is sleeping in the car.
After everyone left, me, Kade, and Riley stayed here to look at the beautiful bright stars that filled the sky.
Riley and I are laying on the ground looking up at the stars.
"This is beautiful." Riley was amazed how the stars shined.
"Haha yeah." I chuckled and looked at Riley as she looked at me.
"I love you." I whispered, she smiled beautifully.
"I love you too." she giggled and grabbed my hand.
"Um...sorry to disturb, but we gotta get outta here." Kade cleared his throat and said awkwardly. "It's late also and I'm tired."
I took a deep breath and got on my feet then helped Riley off the ground.
"Okay, we're coming. Calm down." Riley acted like he was panicking then got into the car.
"Come on." I hit his shoulder and joined with Riley in the backseat. Kade got in and started the car then drove off.
We got to the apartment, we unpacked the car including Riley who fell asleep and having me to carry her in.
I gently put her in bed and kissed her forehead. I walked downstairs to help Kade unpack the rest of the stuff out of the car.
After we did everything it was 3 in the morning and we are fucking tired.
"Night, I'll see you tomorrow." Kade said and whistled for Miko to join him in bed.
"Night." I told him and walked into Riley's room and gently got under the covers with her.
I wrapped my arm around her and fell asleep.

Sorry if this was short and boring, but I just wanted to the 100th chapter which is the last chapter or you want me to continue later on maybe a year or a few months. I wanted to make another story about zombies or walkers what ever you want to call them so yeah, a zombie apocalypse. I'll be making the story soon after I finish this book which is in 3 chapters, it's over or I'll make another series of this book. Anyways, thank you for supporting me. Bye:)
