Chapter 85

^^Few days later^^
After a few days me and Kade have been healing quickly, the doctors have released me but I needed to stay one more for Kade.
I haven't heard from Jaxon yet since I got here.
I am worried about him and Kade too.
"Hey we should do something." Kade looked over to me, I was sitting on the couch.
"What should we do?" I sat up and put my elbows on my knees, giving him attention.
"Well, I'm stuck bed and your not, you should go out and do something." he offered me.
"No, I want to stay here." I let out to him.
"Come on just go." he pointed the door. I sighed and looked at him tell I finally broke.
"Fine, I'll be back till dinner, I'll bring some food." I grabbed my phone and wallet/purse kinda thing and walked over to Kade.
"I'll be back." I told him and kissed his hand.
I walked out to the elevators and enter in one and waited patiently till I got to the first floor.
I got off the elevator and bumped into somebody.
"Oh I'm sor-" I paused when saw him, Jaxon.
He had bruises and a few cuts on his face, he looked terrible.
"Hey." he pursed his lips, I took a step back and looked at the ground.
"Well I'm going out, wanna come?" Why the fuck did I ask that, maybe I can forgive him for beating up and almost kill Kade, ugh it's so hard.
"Yeah sure." he held out his hand. I refused to hold it so I just walked past him and let him follow me.
I called a taxi and got in as Jaxon got in too. I couldn't look at him, I felt sorry for him and Kade. First they are friends for a sec and boom they are enemies.
"I'm sorry about what happen a few days ago." he apologized, I looked at him without a word.
He nodded and looked away.
I took a deep breath and stayed silent till we got to the restaurant.
I opened the door and let myself out.
I walked into the restaurant with Jaxon on my side.
"Where do you want to sit?" I questioned him, looking around for a spot.
"Over here." he pointed at a perfect spot which was empty.
I walked over and sat down with Jaxon.
We stood there silent till the waitress came.
"Hi, I'm gonna be your waitress for today, what would you like to drink today?" A girl asked, I looked at Jax waiting for his order.
"Um, I'll get whatever the lady wants." he smiled and the waitress looked at me.
"Well um, I'll get sweet tea." I closed the menu.
"Sure no problem." she said loudly like a control freak and walked off.
While waiting for our drinks I stood there watching Jax playing with the salt on the table. I felt uncomfortable with a strap around my knee that I had to put on.
"Riley, please talk to me." Jax grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes.
"I-" I tried to speak but I got interrupted by the waitress.
"Here you go!" she exclaimed and gave our drinks. We thanked her and ordered our food.
"Alright I'll be back with your food!" She screamed again and took our menus.
"God she's annoying." Jaxon mumbled and I laughed so did he.
"Your funny." I continued to smile at him. I couldn't help the fact he is being cute and everything.
"Yeah, every time I'm around you, you make me happy." I giggled and pulled my hair out of my face.
"I can't stand being mad at you." I let out and held his hand again. Maybe I'll give him another chance.
