Years Later Chapter 23

✾Taissa's Pov✾
It's years later, Jax turned 9 and Zoe turned 7 years old. I felt much better, I still have a scar and Evan too. Today is the first day for the kids.
Jaxon is going into 4th grade and Zoe is going to 2nd grade.
"Alright, dude be good to your teacher and other students" Evan is not coming because he has to go and film Freakshow as Jimmy Darling.
"Bye" I kissed Evan.
"Bye Zoe" he waved.
I got the kids in the car and drove to the school.
This school has pre-k through 6 grade.
"Be good" I blew kisses at Zoe because Jaxon doesn't really care.
I drove off.
✯Jaxon's Pov✯
I stayed calm, I put my hands in my pockets.
I walked to my class.
I may be 9 but I ain't stupid.
A huge kid bumped into me purposely.
"Hey watch it!" He started to get angry.
I spit the ground.
"Are you gonna say sorry?" He said sarcastically.
"No" I clenched my eyebrows.
He pushed me againest the wall.
"You will be" he huffed at me, then drop me onto the ground.
I groaned.
A teacher came and bend down to help me.
"Sweetheart are you okay?" She grabbed my arm and helped me up.
"Yes mam" I nod.
I picked up my bookbag.
"You must be Jaxon, I heard you are called by Jax." she pat my shoulder.
"Yeah, I am, are you Mrs. Smith?" I looked up at her.
"Yep, let's get to class" I walked with her to class.
"You seat is next to Kevin" she pointed at a kid with wavy hair, a shirt with a surfboard on it, jeans, and cool looking boots.
"Hey" I sat next to him.
"I heard you were threatened by that stupid bully Derrick" he sat up.
"Yeah, I did" I frowned.
✯Evan's Pov✯
When I was packing, Taissa came in.
"I'm gonna miss you" she hugged me behind me.
I turned around kissed her.
She tried to unbuckle my belt.
"Sorry, I gotta go, the meeting starts at 10 and its far away" I held her hips.
"Alright, stay safe" she gave me one last kiss.
"Be safe with the kids, I'll call you tonight" I grabbed my suitcase and winked at her then left.
✯Jaxon's Pov✯
After going over the rules and a tour around school, it was time for lunch.
I walked out of the classroom with the other kids.
That big bully Derrick grabbed me and dragged me into the boys restroom and threw me on the hard ground.
"Aw, you gonna cry?" He teased.
I tried to run for the door but he grabbed me and threw me against the wall.
"You better say sorry now!" He yelled at me. I spit in his face, causing to let go.
I stumbled on the ground, I got up quickly trying to get to the door but Derrick tripped me and I fell. I groaned.
He grabbed my legs and dragged me.
I kicked him in the leg.
He got angrier.
Derrick picked me up againest the wall and punched me in the face.
"Now say sorry!" He kneed my stomach.
I groaned.
While he was threatening me, Kevin came in.
"What the heck!" He grabbed Derrick, kicked behind his knees to cause him to fall.
"Let's get outta here" he hit my arm and ran, I followed him.
While I was running with him, I didn't feel well, I fell on the ground, I saw dark.
✯Kevin's Pov✯
When me and Jax were runnin he passed out. I ran to him.
"Dude, wake up" I shook him, he woke up.
"Let's go" I helped him up and ran with him to the cafeteria.
✯Jax's Pov✯
I passed out a few minutes ago and Kevin woke me up.
We finally made it to the cafeteria.
Me and Kev got in line for some food.
"Jax, your eye" Mrs.Smith pushed my chin up and touched my skin around the eye. I winced.
"You need to see the nurse" she told.
"No I'm fine" I said without a smile.
"Just get your lunch and I'll meet you right there" she pointed where I meet her.
"Okay" I nod.
I got my lunch and walked over to Mrs.Smith.
"Come on" I followed her to the nurse with my lunch.
"Alright Jaxon, what happen?" the nurse asked me.
"I....ran into a pole" I couldn't think of something else as I ate my chicken nuggets and mash potatoes.
"Are you telling the truth?" The nurse held my chin up to see my black eye.
"It looks like a punch" she looked at me.
I glared at her.
Forget it.
"Derrick punched me and kneed my stomach" I looked at the ground.
"Oh Derrick, he is a bully, I tried to tell that to the principle" Mrs. Smith groaned.
"Can I go back now?" I asked.
"Well, we have to tell your mom or dad" nurse told me.
"I'll tell them" I paused her.
"Alright, let's get to class" Mrs. Smith put her hand on my back on the way out.
I left my tray in the nurse's office so she can take it for me.
When we finally made it.
My classmates were staring at me as I sat down.
"Dude, your eye is getting black" Kevin whispered to me.
"I know shh" I shushed Him and continued class.
✾Taissa's Pov✾
After a few hours, it was time to pick Jax and Zoe up.
I was in the parking lot waiting on the school end in a few minutes.
I saw Zoe and she crawled into the car.
"How was school?" I asked joyfully.
"Great" she giggled.
I looked the mirror rear and see Jax coming with his head down.
He crawled in.
"How was school bud?" I asked him.
"Fine" he said without looking up.
"What's wrong?" I looked back to see him.
He made no eye contact.
"Nothing just go" he said without looking.
I start the car and drove home.
✯At home✯
I got out of the car, opened the door for Jax, he got out, yet again looking down.
I walked over to the other side and opened the door for Zoe, I carried her in.
They placed their bookbags down and walked away.
"Wait Jax" I put Zoe down as she went to her room.
Jaxon stood there.
"Come here" I crossed my arms. He slowly walked to me with his head down.
I crouched down to his level. I pushed his chin up.
"What happen!" I was startled of his black eye.
He hit my hand away from him.
"Something" he ran away into his room.
I slowly followed him.
"Jax it's okay to tell me the truth" I plop into his bed with him.
"An older kid bullied me, he punched me and knees me in my stomach" he sat up and frowned.
"And what's this bully's name?" I asked him.
"Derrick" he looked up at me.
"Alright, I'm going to school with you guys tomorrow, okay?" I placed my hand on his soft cheek. He nod.
"Well, I have a tea party reservation with Zoe" I smiled.
"Wanna come?"
"Sure"
We got up and went into Zoe's room, seeing Zoe in and dress.
"Alright let's play Tea" I said cheerfully.
✯After a few minutes of playing✯
I phone started buzzing.
"Be right back"
I got up and walked out, answering the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey it's Emma, it's been forever, can I come over for some dinner?"
"Oh hey, um yeah sure"
I hung up, then walk back into Zoe's room.
"Emma is coming over for dinner" I sat on the floor.
"Sweet, I have not seen since I was 3" Jax looked at me.
"Who's she?" Zoe was confused.
"She's been our friends since you guys were born, she carried you once when you were one years old" I told her.
✯2 hours later✯
"Who like to help me with dinner?" I asked.
"Me!" Zoe squealed, getting up and walking into the kitchen with her.
"We're making spaghetti, garlic bread and some cookies for desert" I looked down at Zoe, she was smiling happily.
✯Cooking✯
"Alright pour the noodles in" I helped her with box of dry noodles into the boiling water.
While we cooked the door rang.
Jaxon got off the couch and answered it.
"Jaxon!" I heard Emma coming and hugging Jax.
"Hey Emma" I smiled as I stir the sauce.
Zoe hid in front of me.
Emma walked over to me with Jaxon on her back.
"Dang your heavy man" she put Jaxon down.
I placed the spoon down and turned around.
"Emma" I smiled and hugged her.
"I missed you" I whispered into her ear.
"You are looking good" she looked at my body real quick.
"This is Zoe" I pushed her in front of me.
Emma bend down.
"Hi, I don't think you remember me, but you were so little" she smiled.
Zoe nod and ran into the living room.
