As usual, excited na Steph ang sumalubong sa akin. Imagine, hinintay pa  niya ako before pumasok para lang makibalita.

"Kumusta Girl?"

"I signed, I accepted it." I said

"Wow! So you mean, you will earn 50k in a month, part time job lang yan girl ha." Both of us are working as a call center agent, and as usual, graveyard shift pa rin kami. Di ako papasok ngayon, total, ngayon lang naman ako aabsent.

"Malalate ka na Daisy, tomorrow, magshoshopping tayo, I need something for the exhibit na pupuntahan naming ni Drew."

"Talaga, you will work immediately? Sounds interesting, I haven't met him girl, super gorgeous ba."

"Sobra, malalaglag ang bra mo at panty." I giggled.

"Sobra! Mas guwapo pa sa babe ko?"

"Mas! Kaya pasok na at baka malate ka pa."

"Chika tayo pagdating ko mamaya Steph."

"Ok." Then Daisy disappeared.  She just decided to clean the apartment, matagal na rin kasing di nalilinisan, tulog kasi sila ni Daisy kapag araw at pumapasok naman sa gabi.

Halos magga-gabi nang makaramdam siya ng gutom. Di pa nga pala siya nag-lunch, nawili siya sa paglilinis. Feeling niya ang dumi-dumi na niya. Suddenly, she heard a knocked on the gate.

She was not expecting a visitor. Baka naman mga special offer. "Saglit."

"Ano po..."

"Hi!" It's Drew.

Nagulat siya sa nakita. Paanong pumunta ito rito? Anong trip niya? "Hi. What are you doing here?"

Nagpa-cute naman nito sa suot na maong at simple white t-shirt. He's holding something, mukhang pagkain sa amoy nito and a bouquet of flowers.

"I'm just visiting my girlfriend."

"Whoah! Cut the crap Drew."

"Can I come in?"

Suddenly ay na-conscious si Steph sa itsura nya. Mukha siyang yagit sa suot niya, amoy pawis na dahil sa kakalinis. Di pa yata siya nagsusuklay mula kanina. Naka pag toothbrush ba siya. Shit!

"Don't worry, you look....."

"What?!" Singhal niya.

"Easy lady. That's not the proper way of dealing with your boyfriend. You look....delicious."

"Player!"

"yes I am, but I promised to be your lawful boyfriend since this morning. So, I pay you a visit. I guess you haven't eaten. Where's the kitchen? I'll prepare this." Feel at home yata!

"Are you serious about this Mr. Monteverde?"

"Yes, Ms. Reyes. Don't worry, I'm harmless. If you are conscious with yourself right now, then change, I'll prepare our dinner."

Besides, you're so tempting! I wanted to taste you.

Stephanie took a quick shower, she wore something that wouldn't expose her legs, masyadong nakaka-confuse ang lalaking nasa labas ngayon. Ano ba ang nakain nito at dinalaw siya.

"How did you know where I live?"

"Honey, it's in your resume. Besides, I have my ways."

He is so cute. In an instant naayos na nito ang mesa, mukhang ang dami nitong binili.

"May bisita pa ba tayong iba Mr. Monteverde?" Asar niya.

"Wala na Ms. Reyes, hindi ko lang alam ang kinakain mo kaya binili ko yung alam kong masarap." Then he winked at her.

Aw! Kinikilig siya.

"C'mon, di pwdeng magutom ang girlfriend ko."

"What are really up to Drew? Di naman siguro coincidence na napadaan ka lang sa apartment namin."

"Honestly, hindi. I just wanted to check you."

"Check me? Ok ka lang, kakakilala lang natin, kakapirma ko ng ng contract this morning, and now you are here? There must be a reason."

"You got a point there, Ms. Reyes." Tila wala itong pakialam na sinubo ang dala nitong siomai.

"So?" Pagtataray niya.

Natawa si Drew, mukhang na misinterpret niya ang dalaga. May tinatago pala itong katarayan at tapang ha, he likes that.

"Honestly, I just want to check your place, kung papasa ba sa taste ko."

Nag-init ang ulo ng dalaga. Papasa sa taste niya, ano ito, magdidikta kahit sa titirahan niya.

"Tama ang iniisip mo Ms. Reyes, I want you to leave this apartment and have a new home."

Mind reader ba ito. Teka, leave this apartment? Aba, ok lang itong kaharap niya.

"Leave my apartment? Alam mo ba kung ano ang hirap ko makahanap lang ng affordable at presentable na apartment? Tapos you will be dictating me to leave this unit? Ano to?"

"You heard me right." He said calmly. "I got a spare condo unit in Mandaluyong, malapit sa work mo, you can stay there."

Napapikit siya, alam ba ng taong ito ang presyo ng mga condo units, di niya afford yun.

"Sorry, I can't, kahit malaki ang kikitain ko sayo, it would not be enough for me to pay it."

"That's for free Ms. Reyes. I want the best for my girlfriend."

"Mr. Monteverde, I'm your hired girlfriend, you don't need to provide things like that." Bakit bigla siyang nainis sa kaharap.

"I know, but what will my family say if they will know na yung nakuha kong girlfriend eh hindi man lang kayang tumira sa disenteng lugar." He is exasperated, masyadong mahirap i-convince ang kaharap.

"So, I'm not living in a decent place ha, aw, sorry Mr. Monteverde, di ako kasing yaman mo."

"Can we not argue about this Stephanie Jane? You see, I am rich, I can even buy you a building, I own the condo, you don't need to pay, in fact, I own the whole building and the two adjacent buildings there. You agreed to follow what I say, I'll provide you everything."

Napatanga siya. Mukhang pikon na ang kaharap. "look Drew, I am not into those things that you own...

"why?"

"Because I promise that I will give the best for you, as my girlfriend. No more arguments Steph, just follow, ipapakuha ko lang yung mga gamit mo sa driver ko bukas."

Sasakit ang ulo niya sa pagiging bossy ng kaharap. Oo nga, kasama yun sa kontrata niya, na susunod siya sa gusto nito.

"Am I going to pretend that I am rich?"

"Not exactly, but I don't like you to act like I can't give what you need."

"Are you always like this in your past girlfriends?"

"I don't have girlfriends, you're my first."

Dun nalaglag ang panga niya.
