Entry #1
It was late night and she was on her way home, when she encountered a spooky looking person in front of a very old library that she didn't notice before. He was bulky, taller, wearing a black robe and had visible stitches on his face even though half of it was being covered, which freaked her out.
He introduced himself as Gregory and even extended his hand for a shake. But because of his unearthly appearance, C just gave him an uncomfortable smile and tried to get past him as quickly as she could but she failed. She scanned her surrounding to look for help in case the man in front of her would do something bad and she seemed to lose hope because of the ambiance of their surrounding; It was really quiet, hazy and she couldn't see any sign of people or even shadows.
He held her wrist and dragged her inside the library. She tried to fight but he was too strong. Inside the library, she felt like she was not in a library but in a morgue because of the nauseous smell and horrid atmosphere that the store exhibited.
During that time, she couldn't help but to feel sick and afraid. The library was full of dirt and was only lit by a candle standing on a skull. She looked at the man who was busy scavenging for something from a pile of books on a table.
She saw the opportunity to escape. She tried to loosen her arm from his grip but she abruptly stopped when she noticed something horrible. The skin on his hands and wrist had different colors and was divided by stitches. His hand had a lighter color than his wrist.
She looked at his back again and at the same time, wondering what kind of person she ran into. While doing so, she felt something inside of her stirring and telling her to remove Gregory's hood. She extended her arm but she stopped when she heard his voice that had changed and was then really low and horrifying.
"Are you sure that you really want to see the face under this robe?"
After saying so, Gregory faced her while holding a black book entitled 3.6.12. The title was engraved using a golden color. By then, she felt that this book would cause her no good.
"Who are you? Why am I here?" C asked while trying to hide her fear.
Gregory just smiled at her which made C feel more frightened because she noticed that Gregory's lips sewn together which made her wonder how he could speak properly.
"Don't worry, you'll just do me a little favor and after that, you're back to your normal life."
"No! Let me go!"
Gregory just shook his head. He cleared the table and left only the skull with a candle on it. He opened the book using one of his hands and placed it on the table in front of them. He then murmured strange words that she had never heard before. After a few moments, the book started to produce a dark light and C started to feel as if she was being sucked in.
"What's happening?!" C frantically asked.
She became more afraid when Gregory started to loosen his grip on C's left wrist that was why she held his using her right hand as firmly as she could. The wind that was trying to suck her inside the book became stronger which made her hand slip.
"A while ago, you wanted me to let you go. Now, you're the one who's holding onto me?"
"Are you stupid?! Help me!" C shouted at him.
Her grip loosened on Gregory even more. She tried to be brave enough to grab on to Gregory's hood. Showing his face, she was stunned that she even let go completely.
✞
"No!" C shouted which surprised Lee.
"C, are you alright?" he asked while waking her up from her deep sleep.
