"Have eyes on Alcaraz sarge" Detective Halstead says as he radios through to his boss, Voight answeres back with an order "keep eyes on him, he may lead us to Ignacio", the criminal then takes out his phone and texts someone, that someone being the Prime suspect in there case, Ignacio.
Alcaraz - 'on my way boss, got wat u needed'
Ignacio - 'make sure u aren't followed'
Alcaraz - 'copy that boss'
Alcaraz then gets in his car, he looks around to make sure there aren't any police nearby, too which Detective Halstead and Detective Upton both lay down slightly in the car so they can't be seen. It must have worked cause the criminal starts driving and making his way to his destination, the other cars follow behind carefully, to avoid being made.
While Alcaraz stops at the destination, outside a huge factory building, as he gets out, he goes to make his way the entrance and walks in carrying a huge black gym like bag, "Here boss" he calls out, he is then approached by a man who has a stern look on his face "you weren't followed?" he asks. Alcaraz shakes his head "nope, all good boss" he then hands his boss the black bag.
Ignacio looks inside the bag which is full of drugs, and one single gun that had been wrapped with a white cloth with blood on it, Ignacio smiles and he nods his head at the younger lad "good work" he praises, Alcaraz just nods his head and asks "got the money then boss?". Ignacio nods and then starts to laugh, in a evil manner.
Suddenly, Ignacio pulls the gun out that was in the bag and points it at Alcaraz who is now begging for his life with his hands in the air "what's this for man, seriously boss, I got what ya wanted", Ignacio laughs a bit more and just before he pulls the trigger he says "I also got what I wanted, your no longer needed". BANG, the young lad then hits the ground, blood gushing out of his head.
Just then Ignacio goes to go back to the girl and finish her off, but he is spooked by the police "Chicago pd, don't move" the one Detective yells out at the criminal, just then Ignacio smirks and decides to take his chance and run, he legs it as fast as he can. Just when he thought he was getting away, he is shoved to the ground and pinned down by Detective Adam ruzek.
Ignacio choses to fight, so he reaches for Adams gun and goes to shoot but before he had chance he found himself shot and laying on the floor with blood gushing out of his chest, Ignacio says one more thing before he takes his last breath, he says it with a smile "this isn't over". Kevin Atwater replies back with "I think it is".
"Jay" Detective Upton shouts out calling for her partner, Detective Jay Halstead comes running in and replies back "yea Hailey", Detective Upton then looks to the corner of the room and points, Jay looks to the corner and his mouth widens in horror, Hailey Upton gets closer too which she feels her heart breaking as with what she sees, a little girl.
Hailey crouched down and checked for a pulse of the young girl, when she does so the girl flinches slightly. The woman Detectives mouth widens in shock and informs her partner "Jay, she's alive, she is awake, we need a Ambo now", Detective Halstead then radios through "we need a Ambo here asap, tender aged girl, barley conscious".
Then they hear back within seconds through the radio 'nearest paramedic is 10 minutes away', Hailey then says to Jay in concern "she won't last that long Jay, we need to get her to the hospital now". He looks down and replies back "that's not how it works Hailey, you know that", Hailey shakes her head as she finds herself filling with so much emotion "I don't care, she is a kid, she needs help" she snaps and just like that she picks the girl up and starts running out towards there car.
While in the car, Jay drives while Hailey sits in the back holding the girl in her arms, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. She was a young girl, not even 10 years old, covered top to bottom in, blood, cuts and bruises. She was literally black and blue, Hailey felt tears come down her eyes as she sat there trying to comfort the girl who was scared as hell. The girl looks up slightly at Upton.

5 minutes later
"Help her, she needs help now" Upton calls out as she runs in the hospital carrying the girl in her arms, Doctor Manning and Dr Halstead make there way over and take the girl from Hailey and place her down on a hospital bed, they then close the door and start working on the poor thing. Hailey just stands there, still in shock, and not really knowing how to deal with it.
Jay places his hand on Hailey's shoulder and comforts her "hey, she will be alright, my brother is in there", Hailey just snaps back "you don't know that Jay, anything could happen". Jay sighs and he stands there not really knowing what to say to cheer her up, Just then Hailey looks at him and apologises "sorry, it's just..." she is stopped by Jay who says "I know, you don't have to explain, I get it Hailey, I do".
Just then Jay's phone goes of he checks it, too which he sees its Sargent Voight so he answers it to see what he has to say.
Hank - "Jay, how is she?"
Jay - "hey boss, still don't know"
Hank - "well stay at the hospital, let me know the updates"
Jay - "copy that boss"
Jay then turns to Hailey and explains what Hank Voight just said, she nods her head in a reply and just stands there waiting for news. When suddenly, Dr Halstead walks out the room "Will, how is she? " Jay asks his brother, Will answers back "she is stable for now but we need to get a MRI and run some tests, hopefully we can avoid surgery, I don't think she will be able to deal with it".
"Alright, thanks Will, we are staying here anyway, so let us know when you know more" Will says to his brother who nods his head and replies back politely "I will, maybe go and get yourself a coffee or something, while you wait", Jay nods and Will walks off to go and see his other patient and leaves Natalie Manning to do the tests and MRI.
Jay then decides to go and get two coffees, one for him and one for Hailey, when he gets back with the two paper cups, he smiles at Hailey as he passes her the cup, she smiles back slightly. As the two sit there at a table drinking there coffee, they suddenly hear a alarm go off and loads of nurses and doctors running to the room where the young girl was. Hailey finds herself crying, unsure what to do, this girl couldn't die.
