Well Hailey said yes to Jay's proposal, Lucie was over the moon and everyone in the unit was happy for them, Lucie had started to call Jay her dad, which made his heart melt and Hailey also found it really heartwarming too, it made her happy knowing that Jay and Lucie got on so well. It definitely made everything a lot easier for them.
Luciana had started to get a bit more moody though, but it wasn't for any other reason than, being a teenager, she was growing, her hormones were all over the place, puberty was a bitch. It was like that for everyone in her grade though, well most of them, each kid went through it at different stages and not all kids are the same.
Hailey and Jay knew nothing was wrong, they were expecting this time to come, I mean doesn't every parent, sure enough they don't enjoy it, but it's part of the job. Teens will be teens, they act out, they try to impress there friends, they try to fit in, go through phases. Hailey and Jay knew the only thing they could do, was just be there for her when she needed them.
"Lucie, I'm not going to say it again, get your arse out of that bed now, and get ready for school" Hailey shouts as she barges in the girls room "ugh, go away already" the moody half asleep teenager snaps. Hailey shakes her head and yells sternly "no, now get up out of that bed now or ill drag you out, Now", the girl then rolled her eyes as she got up out of bed.
When the girl had showered and gotten dressed she went downstairs to have her breakfast, as she sat at the table she saw her parents kissing "get a room you two" Lucie says, Jay laughs "already have". The girl then rolls her eyes too which Hailey smirks back at her daughter "if you roll your eyes anymore you might actually find that brain of yours".
Lucie looked up at her mom, smirked back "that's my line", Hailey sticks her tongue out "not anymore". The three of them laugh, and then have there breakfast, then Hailey gets up and grabs her backpack and says goodbye to them both before leaving to go to school. She was going to meet Brooke on the way like she had done everyday since they became friends.
"Hey B" Luciana greets using her friends nickname, Brooke smiles and replies "Hey Luc, you ready?" Lucie nods her head and the two start making there way too the school. When they arrive they see two boys they hadn't seen before, they looked like they were in the same grade too "who are they?" Lucie asks her friend, letting the curiosity get the best of her.
Brooke smirks and answers "I don't know but boy are they cute", the two then laugh as they make there way to there classroom. When they get to the door they walk in and take there seats and just chat between themselves before first period starts. When the bell goes off, the teacher and loads of other kids starts coming in, including the two boys.
There teacher then stands in front of the class and announces "I'm sure some of you may have noticed, we have two new students with us today, Hayden and Hunter, everyone make them feel welcome, why don't you take a seat over there". The two boys then makes there way too the seats that were empty, Lucie looks to the right of her where the one boy is, he notices her looking and smiles, so she smiles back.
At lunch time, the two girls are sat at the table eating there lunch when the two boys walk over to them "Hey, it's Lucie right, Lucie and Brooke?" the one boy asks as he looks at the two of them, Lucie nods and and Brooke smiles. Then the other boy says as he wears a cute smile "we'll I'm Hunter, and this is Hayden", Brooke smiles back at him and asks bluntly "so are you twins then?".
Hayden then nods his head and answers "sure are", Lucie smiles and asks "who's oldest?" Hunter then answers "I am, by two minutes, and I have to say they were the best two minutes of my life" Hayden then playfully punches his brother "ha ha" he sarcastically says. Brooke then smiles "you want to sit with us?", the twins then nod there head and sit down.
"So, girls, what do you do for fun around here?" Hunter asks , Lucie then answers "not much to be honest, we are kind of boring", Brooke playfully slaps her freinds arm "speak for yourself", Hunter smirks and asks "we'll if you two are up to having a good time, then I suggest you come with us after school".
Brooke smiles and replies "yea, me and Lucie are free, guess we will see you after school then, Hunter", Hunter nods his head "yes you will". Lucie rolls her eyes, Hayden then smiles at her and says "well I guess I'll see you later Lucie", she nods and then her and Brooke make there way to there second to last lesson of the day.
At the end of the school day the girl walk out the gates and the twins are there waiting. Hunter and Brooke kind of walk on ahead and chat, sorry flirt, between one and other. Hayden walks with Lucie and they just have small chit chat as they walk too the twins house. When they arrive, Hunter opens the fridge and takes out a pack of beer and then they all walk to his bedroom.
The four of them sit in the room and Hunter cracks open a beer and hands it too Brooke "here you are beautiful", Brooke takes it off him and takes a swig, she coughs which Hunter laughs and says "don't worry you get used to it". Hunter then cracks open the rest and gives them to Hayden and Lucie before he takes a swig of his own.
Lucie hesitates but then she thinks about how she will fit in if she does it, so she necks it back, she coughs quite a bit but Hunter boasts and cheers "yea, yea that's what we're talking about, you know how to party, here have another" he hands her another beer which she decides to drink a bit slower. The rest of them swig on there's as they joke around.
About 4 beers each after, Lucie, Brooke and the twins are pissed out of there minds, Lucie then asks "what time is it?", Hayden checks his phone and answers "8 o clock", Lucies drunk expression then turns to panic "Shit, shit shit", she then runs to the other side of the room and grabs her phone that's in her backpack, 24 missed calls, 10 text messages. She was in for it now.
She then says to the boys "gotta go, I should have been back by six, I'm two hours late", she runs out like lightening and just runs as fast as she can but finds herself stumbling a bit. Then she sees her house and recognises a car in the driveway 'oh fuck, Hanks here' she thought to herself. She then slowly stumbled into the house through the front door.
As soon as she closes the front door Hailey comes charging through the living room door, anger in her face, as much as worry and panic. "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN YOUNG LADY" Hailey yells. Lucie then slurs her words a little and stumbles as she takes a step near her mom "N, n, nowhere".
Hank then walks through the living room door and pays Hailey's back as he says "ill set off now, I'll leave you two too it, now I know she is alright". Hailey thanks him and then she looks at her daughter and yells "HOW DARE YOU, WALK INTO THIS HOUSE STINKING OF ALCOHOL AND DON'T EVEN GIVE ME A EXPLANATION, I'M VERY, VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU".
Lucie slurs her words as she replies as she slightly falls into her mom's arms "I'm tired". Hailey nods her head and yells "I'M NOT SURPRISED, GET TO YOUR ROOM, WE WILL TALK ABOUT THIS IN THE MORNING". The girl nods but as she goes to take a step she falls backwards, her mom catching her, Hailey sighs as she softens her voice "come on, ill carry you up".
