Alex was kicking his soccer ball about and messing around while Lucie sat under a tree and drawn some more in her sketch book, she decided to do something soccer related, so she did a actual ball with flames like effect. The two of them joked about school and some of there lessons, they also spoke about some other students 'the popular ones'.
That's one thing Luciana wasn't, she wasn't popular, the opposite really, her and Alex were bullied quite often from the other students. His reasons were because of his eldest brother, he was judged by actions that wasn't even his. Lucie was the one person who decided to ignore it all and stayed friends with him, she saw past all of the rumours and saw Alex for who he was.
The girl had already been a easy target for the bullies but it got worse when she hung around with Alex, they stuck together as much as they could because things didn't happen as much if they were together. They had each others back, and that's what helped them get through day by day, they had become really good friends.
They were proof that opposites really could get on, him and the girl were nothing alike apart from the fact they were bullied. He was athletic and into rap, she was more of the chilled out type who just liked to draw and listen to music. She did have a little go every now and then but she definitely wasn't very sporty.
After she had finished her drawing she held it up for Alex to see, he put the ball down for a moment and took the drawing from her hand "wow, this is really good", she laughs a little and replies "it's ok". He then smiles and asks "can I keep it?", she looks at him confused, unsure to why he would want it but she nods her head and answers "sure, I guess".
She then puts down the sketch book and the two start to mess around with the ball and kick it about, they laugh between themselves as they do so. "Your getting better Al" Lucie says using her friends nickname, he shrugs his shoulders and replies back "meh, I'm alright, you wanna hear me spit bars though, now that's what you call talent if I say so myself".

Luciana laughs and playfully punches his arm "Al" she says, he just laughs back and then says as he points in the distance "hey look at that over there", the young girl turns around and looks to where he was pointing, when all a sudden she sees the ball go shooting past her, into the goal. "Scooorrre" he chants out. The two giggle as Lucie jokes "cheater".
"What's the time anyway Al?" Lucie then asks, the boy looks at his watch and answers "6.30". The girl looks at him with wide eyes and panics a little "shit, I need to go, NOW, my mom's gonna kill me, I should have been at the district at 6", he looks at her and tries to reassure her "that's only half an hour, you will be fine". She shakes her head back at your and replies back in a panic "yea, but by the time I've got there it won't be".
Alex nods and then says "alright well I guess I'll see you tomorrow then at school", Lucie nods the two hug and then the girl goes running off with her backpack on. She finds herself getting out of breath but continues to run, when she gets to the district she stands there for a moment catching her breath "your mom's gonna hit the roof Luc" (pronounced loose) Trudy says as she notices the girl.
Lucie then replies back with a panicked expression on her face "don't I know it, I'm screwed", Platt just smiles slightly and buzzes the girl up. As Lucie walks up the stairs she braces herself for a very angry Mom, and that's exactly what she gets as soon as she walks in the room.
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE TOU BEEN? WHAT TIME DO YOU CALL THIS? " Hailey yells out when she notices her daughter, Lucie tries to fake a smile and goes to answer but Hailey stops her and continues to yell "NO, I DON'T EVEN WANT TO HEAR IT, I PUT THESE RULES IN PLACE FOR A REASON". The girl looks down in defeat and mumbles under her breath "to be broken".
She soon realises she didn't say that quietly enough, because Hailey then yells back using the girls full name "TO BE BROKEN, NO, NO I DO NOT SET RULES FOR THEM TO BE BROKEN, LUCIANA MAY UPTON, I AM VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU, DO YOU HEAR ME?". The girl then replies back in such sass "how can I not, the UK could probably hear you". Hailey then stands in so much anger.
"WE ARE GOING HOME, RIGHT NOW, NO TECHNOLOGY, NO GOING OUT, YOUR GROUNDED, I MEAN IT YOUNG LADY, AND YOU BETTER SORT THAT ATTITUDE OUT OR ELSE" Hailey yells back, Lucie looks down in defeat and answers "yes mom". The two then start to walk out and head to the car, meanwhile the others in the unit just keep sharing looks.
2 hours later
Lucie lays on her bed doing her homework like she was ordered too, she just sighs as she thinks about what had happened, she hated making Hailey angry. She had done so much for her that she hated it when Hailey had to yell, but the girl knew that she would just have to go along with it, she didn't know the time, she should have, would have even, if the bullies at her school didn't steal anything nice she owned including her watch.
She then felt herself start to tear up, but suddenly Hailey appeared in the doorway, she tried to wipe the tears away in time but it was too late. Hailey sat on the edge of the bed and said in a calm voice "please don't tell me your crying because of me" Lucie shakes her head and answers "no". Hailey smiles slightly and asks "well, then why are you crying?".
Lucie sighs and lies to her mom not wanting her to get involved "I lost my watch you got me, that's why I was late, I asked Alex for the time and he told me, when I realised I legged it to you, I really did", Hailey frowns slightly and replies back with a question "sweetheart, why didn't you just tell me?". The young girl sighs and answers "I didn't really get chance".
Hailey sighs and then hugs her daughter as she reasurres her "well im sorry, alright pumpkin, I'm sorry, I was just worried and I had to teach you a lesson, that's what being a parent means, teaching you the difference between right and wrong, just as much as loving you and caring for you". Lucie smiles back at her and hugs her mom back.
Just as Hailey goes to leave, the girl thought she would try her luck "erm, does this mean...." she is then interrupted by her mom who happens to know exactly what she is gonna ask "no, your still grounded". Lucie frowns and sighs but then gets back onto her homework, she ends up falling asleep not long after she completes it.
