20 Dollar Nose Bleed (C17)

"Hey wake up. Stay with me." A voice pleads. I slowly blink my eyes open. "Ray?" I croak. "That's right don't worry you're safe." He soothes, his body language relaxing a little bit. "OH MY GOD." I shout, trying to sit up but lying down immediately in agony. "Don't sit up its not a good idea, the doctor told us to keep you lay down. God this is going to cost us a fortune. But anything to keep you safe." He coos moving my hair off my face.

"Rays whats going on?" I panic.
"You had a. erm. Boys help me please?"
"You fell downstairs because you tried standing on the banister and you've smacked your head. You don't remember?" Frank replies, I shake my head slowly.

"Why would I do that?" I ask with tears racing down my face.
"We don't know how or why but someone has spiked your drinks with drugs, so you was high off your ass. I can't imagine you stlll being high though. You've been unconscious for a day or so." Mikey adds.
My tears turn to a rivers, my heart beating like a drum inside of hollow tin chest. "Oh my god." I sob. "I haven't missed Raines wedding have I?"

"Of all things to care about." Gerard remarks. "Good job that fall didnt affect you vee, no you haven't missed it, you could be dispatched soon. Hopefully."

"Should we go get the doctors? We were supposed to get them as soon as shes awake." Mikey questions, I take a quick look at him; his glasses were a little foggy and dirty, his hair is all over the place, his face red and his were swollen. "Mikey?" I mutter. He comes over to the side of my bed, scanning my face. "What's up?" He inquires, I just simply open my arms and climbs next to me and holds me tightly and starts crying. "I thought I had lost you, I'm so sorry Velvet." He sobs into my shoulder. "Shhh." I whisper soothingly trying not to cry too. "I want in on this." Frank grins carefully wrapping his arms around me and Mikey.

"Oi you two the doctor is down the hall way get off her." Gerard tuts. Mikey and Frank climb out and sadly return to their seats. I fidget so I'm close to Ray's bed side stool, I wiggle my finger signaling to move closer. He gets off his chair and kneels beside the top of my bed. "You know what? You're so cute with glasses." I laugh. "If you wasn't ill I would shut you up." He murmurs in my ear. "Oh? Really? Like how would that go?" I grin, raising an eyebrow. He kisses the tip of my nose and smirks. "You'll find out soon." He smirks. "Fine. But can I atleast have a hug?" I pout.

"No." He says shortly.

"Why?" I sulk.

"Because if I do, I won't ever let go." He replies, his voice cracking and his face crumpling up. "That's fine by me." I smile reassuringly.

"I'm falling in love with you every time I see you Velvet, and I can't stop it and I know it's early. But it's true, and I want to save you from this hospital bed, one way or another." Ray whispers, smiling at me nervously. I bite my tongue but it doesn't help, tears once again fall down my face again.

"Ray...." I begin but he doesn't say anything so I prop myself upwards and kiss him. Unlike our other kisses this one was different, maybe it was the saltiness from our tears or maybe it was the hormones; however it was special, romantic, and passionate. But I knew very deep down I felt the same, I loved Ray from the night I met him... properly.

The night after the accident and he wanted to take me out for a dinner to cheer me up, he tried his hardest to make me smile all that day, but no matter how sad I was and how I felt dirty, he made me feel safer, like I was missing out on something I had never had with someone else.

"Mr. Toro I would advise you to leave me and Velvet alone, your friends have gone somewhere outside the hospital, I don't know where but please leave us be." The doctor states, interrupting me out of my thoughts. Ray squeezes my hand and then let's go and walks out the room begrudgingly.

"How are you feeling Ms Dalton?" The doctor inquires. "Been better, however my head is a little woozy but that's it." I reply calmly. "That'll be the kissing," he tuts at me, "but looking at your stats you should be free to go, but obviously you'll need medication. It's advised no more concerts for the next 2 weeks or so. Oh here's some clothes your friends left for you, I will be leaving you now. Just tell the pharmacist downstairs you're name and they'll give you nescacary medication. Bye miss." And with that he's gone.

Weirdo.

I sit on the edge of the bed and climb into my dress. I stand up and look down and slide my hand down my stomach, great I look fat too, I might as well start running now I can't preform, that should help lose a little weight.

I check my watch that was left on my wrist; 9.10 AM. If I go straight there I shouldn't miss Raines wedding. I grab my bag and walk out of the room and see Ray stood outside, he must of gone to the bathroom and got cleaned up and put on an adorable suit on. "Come on miss Dalton, we've got a wedding to be at!" He says smiling at me. "Ok but I need my medicine first." I grin back, walking towards the pharmacy.

"Here you are miss, enjoy the rest of your day!" The women behind the counter says passing me my medicine. "You too!" I reply politely and walk out of the hospital, with my arm linked with Ray.

Thankfully there was a taxi outside of the hospital and we jump in and tell the driver the location of the church.

"You're so pretty." Ray smirks watching my finish off my make up. "Oh shush, we both know you're the hottest one here." I flirt. "Noooooo." Ray politely disagrees.
"Yessssss." I reply giggling.
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"I give up how about we say we're as pretty as each other." He smirks. "Alrighttt." I sulk.

"Alrighty, you're here now. That will be £30 pounds please." The taxi driver states. I pass them the money and climb out the taxi and hold my bag tightly.

"Velvet?" Margot shouts, waving me over. I carefully make my way over.
"Aren't you beautiful!?" I gasp studding her suit. "Thank you lovely." She grins. "You're just in time, Raine will be here soon, See you on the other side!" She grins and walks into the church with her family behind her.

"Do you still love this nutty family?" I giggle. "Of course. Why wouldn't I? Anyway I need to go find my seat, see you later my love." He sighs. He kisses my forehead gently and walks into the church.

A few minutes later, Raine finally arrived. "Oh my god you made it!" She squeals hugging me. "Of course, I wanted to see my baby sister live her dream!" I reassure. "Thank you so much!" She steps back and looks at my outfit."Velvet?" She begins.
"Yes?" I sigh.

"Will you walk me down the aisle?" She smiles. I nod happily and quickly hug her and then extend my arm for her to hold.

We open step into the entrance and I look at my baby sister and smile. "Stop staring and lets get going." Someone tuts from behind us. I turn around to see who it was. "Dont leave me out bitch!" Armour crackles.
"Eugh come on you two." Raine pleads.

I let out a small laugh and walk down the aisle with Raine and Armour.

Immediately everyone stands up and watches as we walk down the aisle. I scan the pews for familiar faces and spot my family and the guys. I smile and nod my head in their direction.

I untangle my arm from Raines and let her walk up the podium to Margot.
