Disenchantment (C10)

A/n i was going to put this at the end but I wanted everyone to read it now. Im sorry for the switch between Ray and Velvets POV, I just wanted to experiment, and honestly I loved it, but I will keep it in Velvets POV  from here on out, Stay Beautiful and keep it ugly. Love you x🖤x

After a slow and expensive taxi ride we finally arrived at the stadium, and if it wasn't for Ray I don't know what I would of done with myself today, I owe the guy so much. Well I owe them all, I just hope they don't want to kill me- especially Gerard, him and Mikey are so close, its the kind of sibling relationship you are envious of. "Come on." Ray whispers, poking my arm. "We are late!! Vee come on!" He nags opening my car door for me, I climb out the taxi shaking like mad, I quickly grab all of my bags before closing the car door. "Wheres the bus parked?" I mutter. "Never mind, come on Vee we got to get going!" He starts running towards our little bus.

After I caught up I was standing outside the door shaking like a chihuahua, I tried to move my arm to open the door but I was paralysed with fear. I take Andy's advice and take 3 deep breaths in and out. Inhaling and Exhaling.

I go to open the door but someone on the other side opens it. "Its about time you both got here!! Youre late, like super late, even Gerard is ready, come in quick!" Frank scolds. "Here let me take them bags for you Vee" I give him the bag with all the make up things in but keep a firm grip on my other bag. "There's 4 eyeliner pencils in there, One for you,one for Mikey and one for Gerard. Oh and bob has a set of nose and lip piercings in there. Right I need to get dressed!" I smile.

I put on my lucky AC/DC top and put on a pair of fingerless gloves and redo my hair so half of its up in a pony tail and the rest is down. I switch my regular tights for a pair of fishnets and I quickly redo my laces on my doc martins and run out of the room to grab my new maroon lipstick to run into Gerard. "Oh hi Gee!"I smile. "I'm so sorry for running into you. I'm just"
"Its ok Velvet, hey listen, I can tell your nervous, don't be, you will do well, just because Mikey is skipping this gig doesn't mean you should be scared! You're so fucking talented, let the world hear it!" He comments. I look at him gobsmacked. "Mikey is missing this gig!??" Gee nods at me and runs off to go finish warming up, I quickly do my lipstick and run to find the others.

"Oi Velvet we're in here!! No not that room you bafoon, this room, there we goo!" Bob shouts at me. "Ooohhh hi! I'm not to late to warm up am I?" I giggle. "No. not all, we do go in after this song so get a move on!" Frank replies, I grab my hand lotion and rub it in gently, and then start joining in with star jumps before having to grab my bass.

I swing my bass onto my back and I skip out onto stage, with a huge smile, I go up to Frank's Microphone and say. "What the fuck is up California!!?? Oh wow it's amazing to be back, I hope you've been good or else we're gonna have to punish you!" I shout. This sends the crowd CRAZY and they start screaming. "The first song is called Cemetery Drive! And I want to fucking hear you sing until you're lungs give out!" Gerard growls. I take a few steps back away from Frank and start playing.

After a few songs I see Mikey stood in the stages left wing. I keep playing but start making my way over. "Vee what are you doing? You need to be out there!" He chuckles slightly.
"Mikey please go out there, I will get off stage if that makes you feel better, The Ghost of you is about to come on and I can't, I won't play your solo, its yours and I have no right taking it away from you, this is YOUR band, please come on stage." I plea. He looks around for a second before smiling. "You go out and talk to the crowd before that looney tune starts playing without the pair of us!" I nod and skip back out and start playing near Frank.

"What was that about?" He whispers. "I was getting Mikey back on stage, can you please go over to Gerard and tell him Mikey's coming out and to wait and let us all talk to the crowd. Frank nods and runs off to find Gerard. I skip over to Ray to tell him the plan too. "That's so nice of you to do!" He mutters. I start making my way back to Frank's Microphone. "SUP MOTHERFUCKERS!!" I yell. "Boy do we have a treat for you tonight! But first we wanna talk to you all, hey can some put white lights on so I can see these beautiful people!" There was a flash of colours and a bang, and the light switched off.
