Chapter 12

Biology is my favorite subject, I would prefer biology to all subjects. I am a science student and in the future, I want to be a surgeon.

But a woman teaching biology proves otherwise. She don't even go in details about anything. She don't talk in details about the penis and vagina.
I'm always intrigue to know more about them.

One would say it's because I never had sex that's why but really it's because I want to know more about them just in case.

Miss Taylor is already in class, I don't really pay attention because she's not giving us more details about the reproductive system.
If I had a choice, I would just walk up there and teach the entire class. Why is she doing like we're kids in here?

Some of us are almost 18 and some are 18 and above. If it was Mr. Powell teaching us by now, we all would've learn more and more. I miss 11th grade.

We had lots of fun in there, no telling us we were going to fail if we're not serious or we need to be focused. We were focused anytime we chose to but we still learned.

Paige, Darnell and I, the big three back in 10th grade. We always went honour roll. I mean, we were the honorees of our class back then before Darnell left for another school.

I don't know, maybe he carried the spirit with him or we just decided not to focus anymore. Now he's in J. J. Roberts high school. It's the same Methodist school and we see each other sometimes. He and I talk most often.

He was my first best friend before Paige. We attended the same school before coming here and then he left. He won't tell me why even if I keep asking.

Now it was Paige and I against the whole school or the world, I would say. Paige Asmar Parker and Mackenzie Drells Davis against the universe.
