It is already 6:12pm and I'm late to pick up the girls from school but I still have to. Their school wasn't that far from home so it wasn't a big deal.

I quickly dropped everything I was doing and went for the girls.
I took them from their campus and brought them home then went back at the market to buy.

See how exhausting this feels, I can't keep my girls on empty stomachs. I'm using my tomorrow allowance to cook for today. I don't know if Hodge is going to send us money and I don't know how I'll go to school tomorrow but it's in God's hands.

I was cleaning the things to cook and then my phone rang. It was Darnell calling. Finally my best friend is call.

Ryn brought my phone to me from the livingroom. I answered the phone and wedged it between my ear and left shoulder. My hands were in water, should I couldn't hold it.

"Hey Nellz," I said loudly.
I am so happy right now hearing his voice, it'd been ages since we last spoke.

"Kenz, sup?" He answered with his fake American accent.

"How I miss you. It's like you just decided to ghost on everyone," I said.

"Not really, I been really busy these days," Darnell said.

"Really busy I can see. So you busy now to text your friends, I mean me of all person?" I stuffed my mouth up. I knew he was lying.

"Come on Kenz, you know I cannot ghost you and besides you have Paige now. Been see your posts lately," Darnell said.

"Hmm, my dear that woman ditched me today for love. You already know," I busted with laughter.

"Ashton Baldwin, I been seeing things lately. Glad she suits you. Now you'll look for your own love," He teased.

"Love? In this country? Humor me dear. I'm not up for that atm, you already know my situation here," I said sadly.

I never told Darnell about my situation, he found out by coincidence and I had to elucidate plainly.
