I brought her to the hospital, alongside Ryn.
Ryn fever was so high and I was scared.

I searched the entire house for money  and I only found 2 thousand Liberian dollars. Why isn't Hodge insurance paying for this?

I'd reached out to them but they couldn't help, no one could. This is not enough to register both of them before treatment.

The Doctor said, if I can't register them, they won't be treated. I am in a great dilemma right now. There's nowhere to go to. No one to turn to.

I called Darnell again, maybe he would help me out. He did, he came and registered them. How could I ever thank him.

"I'm done with the registration," Darnell said.

"Thank you so much," I replied. I'd been crying the whole night. I think I was falling sick. No, I can't be sick, I just can't.

"I'm sorry for everything Kenz. I wish I could help to pay the bills," Darnell said.

"You've tried enough Nell. I don't know what I'll do now," I replied.
We sat outside the hospital.

"My boss has seize my daily allowance. She said I spend too much and I'm not allow to get a dime," He said. "It's a little side hustle I got this money from."

"Can you at least talk with your boss so I can work. I'll do anything, wipe, clean, wash dishes, anything just to raise money for them," I said.

Darnell looked at me for few seconds without saying anything.

"Nell please. I just need money, I can do anything," I insisted.

"You can't do this job Kenz!" He said.

"What do you mean I can't? Isn't it a regular job you're doing? Or you could put me on your side hustle," I replied.

"This job is not for you Kenz," he repeated again.

His there something he's not telling me? Is he hiding something from me? Is he doing rituals or is he in a secret cult. My own thoughts baffled me.
