Sometimes I think I'm the only person who sings when taking a bath. I love to sing, I love to rap, I love to write, I love to be intellectual and outspoken. But in this house, you can't.

"Shut the hell up, I'm still sleeping!" Mom yelled.

I stopped singing right away. She always yell at everything. She screams a lot and it's used to her by now.
I still hummed a little, she couldn't stop the spirit. She wasn't going to destroy my career, no not at all.

I took my bath with a nice cold water. This is sickening, we don't get to have the fancy treatment. We get what we see and we get what they give us. Unlike the girls I make hot water for them every morning and get them breakfast and ready for school.

I was already dressed up before Kyle. He was still dragging to take his bath. He knows if Laverne Maddison Lotts wakes up, it means trouble for him.

I was just looking at him, praying for her to wake up. You know how it is when a sibling disrespects you always and you cannot do anything about it but you pray karma pay them back dirty and harder.

That was how I prayed, I just wanted a little drama before school. But before I knew it, it was already 7:43 am.

Oh my god, I'm late. I'm always late and the Dean had warned, if I'm late again, I'll get a punishment.

I believe Mr. Clarke hates me like my parents do. He always push me against the limits and I can't do anything about it. I'm leaving their school this semester.

Yes, I'm going to college, hopefully if that will happen but I pray it do.

My heart pounded so loud, you could hear it afar. I couldn't stand to pray for Kyle's downfall anymore because mine is a feet away. I am going into a lion's den but this time around I'm not Daniel and Mr. Clarke is certainly not an angel.
