My transportation fare wasn't enough to go back home. Hodge Lotts left without giving us our daily transportation fare.
So I had to wait for the NTA bus to go back home. It's the cheapest way to go wherever you want to go, especially for a student.
Finally, I reached home. Back to hell, back to boredom, back to whole lot of work, I'm the mother and father and the head of the home.
I opened the door slowly, the fear crept through my heart like I was entering into a danger zone. Oh my god! Mom was lying right on the floor.
At first I thought she was dead but when I went closer, I could hear her breathe slowly. I knew she'd drank herself away.
The tears rolled down as I watched her laid right on the floor. This was the only way she could tame her pugnacious behavior.
Drinking is her way of avoiding or causing chaos.I looked around and I saw Kyle's bag on the couch. He was back and he saw mom like this and left her all alone. I know Kyle was selfish but wicked, that's a whole knew trend.
I picked her up and carried her into her room and warm bath her with a warm towel so she could be sober.
She retched all over the living room so bad.I feel sorry for her, she's going through a lot, all by herself with no one there to help her and I can't even do nothing to help her.
I blame MacKinnon Davis for this. He's the reason she's a drunkie.
He's the reason we're all going through all of this. After cleaning the vomit and the whole house, I still have the girls to pick up and I still have cooking to do. My body is exhausted right now but I can't be lazy. My family need me and I'm here for them.
Now I have to pick up the girls and pass at the market to buy some pepper, bitter balls and bony fish to cook a small pepper soup for mom. At least it'll give her a little strength.
