Brooke's POV

"While I was texting with Lisa via whatsapp on last night, Yvonne had gave me a phone call with a very special request of hers, asking me to keep Nico for the next day. Her parents having a bad flu, they didn't want to take the risk to make the little boy sick, Yvonne and Mélanie would be busy at travelling to Berlin on a business trip, and Marco would have a training till five o'clock. Luckily it was my day off, so for sure I kindly accepted to baby sit little Nico, how could I refuse that, I adored that little man so much. Also that would be a great opportunity for Sophia to meet him, she fell in love with him only by looking the pictures I shown her."

"As the weather was beautifully sunny despite of a cooled down temperature, I had thought that spending a few hours at the park was a great idea, where Nico could play and run freely. I had prepared some sandwiches, cakes, muffins and juice for the lunch early in the morning with the help of my sister, she already got the cooking talent. - But while the bus was on its way to the park,,Sophia pleaded to have a quick girly shopping session at the well known Dortmund street Market. She had always desired to go there so I couldn't refuse her that. And my approval has been a satisfaction for each other as we made good deals with buying some brand clothes on crazy sales from Acne, Topshop, VS. I bought Sophia a purple scarf she was dying for, and a big teddy bear for Nico who quickly adopted it, and never let him go off his arms while heading to the park. Yes the public park was only like ten minutes of walk from there, it was funnier rathet taking another bus to drop us."

The park wasn't that much crowded, with only some bunch of students doing their home works, young couples hands in hands walking around, some with their newborn or toddler, and that beautiful sun shining brightly on our head, and warming our souls. Even though of that clear weather, the ambient air was so cool and cold, like every years, at the same period of the year, the temperature fell to a 10 degree. For me it was already too cold, and it was not the worst yet, ughh, I so hated winter. I was counting already the day for summer to show up again, but we were so far from that. But I didn't paid much attention to those shitty mind ruining details, and focused on the present, enjoying my day with my sister and an over enjoyed Nico, who was having the hell of fun. Sophia had brought a football ball, so they could play, and this little charmer was trying always to play it like his uncle, and despite of his young age, he was really good at it, just like Marco. Was Nico a future football star, yes surely. Nico immediately attached himself to Sophia, he had no difficulty to trust in her. My sister was really good and caring with children, so I didn't worry much, they were so inseparable. The only person who was missing out there, was my man, my Marco. Nothing in this world to play with his little Nico could make him happier. Marco with children resulted in an explosion of sweetness, he just loved them. I was sent an angel into my life, an angel in the name of Marco Reus. Sometimes I came to think he was too goof to be real, and that I didn't deserve him. Was I right or wrong ?

While packing the empty Tupperware boxes back in my backpack, I looked straight to my watch which shown twenty past four. "Shit, we are going to miss the bus" I muttered, as I grabbed the few last plastic boxes. I turned my head to my right, seeing Nico holding Sophia's hand firmly, as he gave me one of his charming smile.

"Can't we stay till five, please." Sophia beseeched on a pleading voice.

"No sis, We have to catch the next bus who'll come in ten minutes, so we better hurry." I winked my eye. From her manners, I saw she was bothered, I bet she wanted to stay a few more minutes at the park with Nico. "Hey, don't be sad, you'll spend some extra time with Nico at Marco's house, we are going to his house for dinner." The last sentence I spoke altered her groomy mood back to a smile on her face.
