"Brooke's POV"

"Why am I so nervous, why.  It's only a dinner, just a simple dinner with Marco my ... Well I have no idea of how should I call him, only my friend, or more than a friend.  We weren't yet a pair as I know.  Damn my hands have been so cold all day.  My legs have shaken during all the time I was preparing myself.  Hopefully, Julia was there, she came at mine to see spend the night and to keep an eye on the apartment during my absence.  She did my make up, and raised my hair in a ponytail that looked so marvelous, I liked it very much.  Also she continuously teased me a lot about my dinner with Marco, mentioning several times that my night was going to be "The Night" and I shall enjoy every seconds of it.  What did she meant by "The Night", that Marco and I would end together in the same bed or something like this.  Errrr I knew her, and her silly imagination sometimes could make her thinking too much far.  Not everyone would have such opportunity to have a "date dinner" with Marco Reus.  But was it really going to a date dinner, despite the fact that Marco and I were a little more than friends.  First I wanted to see him, face to face, to fix our situation, and mostly hear his version about the girl, and I was eager to know what happened and who this girl was.  Honestly, this dinner wasn't necessary, a walk at the Dortmund public park, while sipping a hot chocolate would have been enough for me, but knowing that Marco has always wanted to bring me out.for a dinner, so I really couldn't have refused his invitation.  Julia has advice me several times to let Marco explain himself about the incident of the other day, if he ever came to talk about it, and that I really should let him express.  Gosh, I already knew that, so reminding it to me a hundredth of times was so pointless.  That also gave me a headache, the fact to hear the same thing, at the end, I just nodded my head at her words.  But despite my childish behavior, and behind Julia's "Annoying" advices, I knew that she only wanted the best for me.  And this moment, when Marco gave me the phone call, telling me that he arrived and was waiting for me in his car, holy mother of god, my nervousity rose to reach the maximum peak on a scale of ten, or maybe that it was higher.  I had no idea why was I feeling this way, like if it was the first time that I was going to meet Marco.  OMG Brooke, "

**********

When Marco said that this dinner was going to be a surprise, and mostly that I won't regret it, well the boy wasn’t lying at all.  I really wasn't expecting that it would be that big, well big in my view.  When Marco told me that it was only a dinner, I understood the definition of dinner in its simplest form, but obviously, mine was very different from his.  When we entered at the Domenico Restaurant, Marco’s favorite one, a waiter has come to us, and immediately recognized Marco, surely, he was one of their best client, the young girl mentioned that everything have been organized according his wishes.  I never ceased to look with a strange glare at Marco and the waitress, back and forth, wondering what was going on, and Marco’s reply was just a crooked smile.  As we kept on walking, following the waitress, we passed by the main restaurant dining room, and I understood that we weren’t going to eat there, as she lead us to the first floor, where there were sorts of private room, at first it kinda scared me, because I had no idea of what was happening.  I kept my mouth sealed, and only swallowed my saliva, feeling a sort of anxiety ball deep in my throat.  And as she opened one of the room’s door, all my nervousness faded as if by magic.  All these string lights hanging everywhere and the lighted candles were enchanting the room, giving it a touch of magic fairy tale.  A light sugared perfume was floating in the air, certainly coming from the candles.  I felt as if I was a princess, that scenery was so magical, too magical to be real, it was just so perfect.  Nobody ever planned such surprise dinner for me, so I was a little surprised, did not said a word, and kept at admiring everything around me, which looked surreal, but so beautiful.  As the waitress left us, Marco has grabbed my hand and said "I told you that you wont regret it." My mind and feet being like floating on a little princess cloud, I just stared at him, with a smiling filled of joy that appeared on my face, and just by looking my face expression, he knew how dazed I was.
