"Brooke's POV"

"If only a plane ticket didn't have that stupid expiry date on, it would have been fucking fantastic. The one I had expired on February 2015, as it was a round trip ticket. I have imagined I would have been able to use it before, but once again my dreamy imagination has overshadowed the reality. The day Michael was sent to jail, I celebrated it as my personal win over my fight with the devil. I never imagined this day would happen, even though I have prayed everyday, seeking god's forgiveness and his help. In my view, I saw it as a miracle. Since that, I had one wish only, to go back to Germany. Those two pending additional weeks have been the worst ever, as I had been requested by the police to testify the proofs I had about Michael's business, his threats and sorted everything out in a strenuous four hours interrogation. I was asked to not leave the country for the two next weeks, and that's I did. As I didn't use much of the money Kaylee gave me, I used the remains to get my plane ticket in the mean time. Those two weeks have been the longest like of my life ever, full with excitement at the idea to see my friends and family again, but also the stress shown off. Which form of excuse I was going to use to justify my escape, and worst above how to relate my mom and Sophia, even Bernard the horrible moments I went through . I bet mom would be so mad, at first, but would eventually change her mind when I'd relate the truth behind this, the same for Sophia. This is going to be a tough phase, but there is no way that I would run again. They deserve to know the reality, this horrible story. I made myself a promise, that never I would lie again, because every collateral damages which came off from my lies made me lose the control of my life. I don't want to live that again."

I arrived in Dortmund two ago, but the change was felt immediately when my feet touched down the German land. The fresh breeze caressing my face, the light rain, the typical German spring season at that period of the year. Gosh, at least the cold winter, and the unconvenient snow were far behind, I was an ardent winter hater, I just hated it. It felt so good to be back in that wonderful country. When the planed landed on the Munchen Airport tarmac, my heart beat accelarated uncontrollably from the excitement that was running on me. The number of times that I self questioned myself if all of that was real were countless. Gosh, I was breathing with happiness again and the dark days were far back away.

The night had fallen already over Munich when the plane landed, and the next train to Dortmund was set at half past nine in the morning. I had any of other choices that to have a short sleep at the passengers waiting section, and wait, once again.
My come back was a surprise for Julia and Kaylee at first, because I had decided to visit them first. So when I arrived in the middle of the after noon at the Dortmund train station and where I gave a phone call to Kayles telling her I was in town. From the suspicious sound of her voice, I knew she wasn't believing a word of what I said, so to prove her that it wasn't an early April's fool, I had send her a selfie with the time panel at the background. Her reaction that followed next, well no word existed to describe it, so it was when we reunited.

"And Kaylee, thank you so much for having my stuffs kept at yours." I said, my mouth sipping on the can of coke. Thanks the heaven that Kaylee had got the smart idea to keep my stuffs at her apartment, my sofa, TV screen, bed and some of my other stuffs that I was very committed to. Also, as my stay in Dortmund was about of three days, I stayed one day at Kaylee and the two others at Julia's, so none of the two would get jealous, gosh, these two. If I hadn't come at Kaylee's first, she could have make a scene. Anyway, it didn't matter at who's place I had to stay first, as long I was with my girls.

"What is to thank me for, like really, I did what real friends do to help, I knew it would be a temporary situation, that it wouldn't last forever, and (meme) I had to keep them for a whole time it wouldn't have not bother me at all." Kaylee replied with a smile, as she pet her two puppies, the new comers to her family, a beagle named Coca, and a golden retriever named Toffee, two absolute cute babies of three months. It looked like a lot of things changed here during my absence.
