Chapter 29

Ymirs Pov:

"What are you doing here? Everyone said you're dead." I ask shocked as I walk closer to him.

"Well..not anymore, I guess." Eren replies as he puts his hands in his pant pockets and walks inside our room.

"How?" Historia asks confused and he sits down on our bed.

"I don't really know how. Founding titan Ymir said she gives me one more chance." He answers with a small shrug and a crooked smile.

"You know why?" I ask while crossing my arms.

"Like- it's really awesome you're back but..you know?" I add, which makes him chuckle.

"Ymir said I get another chance to be free with the people I love." Eren says and I smile while wrapping my arms around him for a hug.

"I missed you, dude." I tell him and he hugs me back.

"I missed you too." He replies while patting my back.

I then pull away from him and Historia goes to hug him as well.

"So..you two are finally married?" He asks with a grin, making me smirk and Historia blush.

"Not yet. But I did propose to her." I say proudly, which makes her chuckle and Eren smile widly.

"That's awesome! I'm so happy for you two!" He exclaims happily before jumping up and hugging us both.

We then continue to chat for a while and it feels really nice having him back.

"So..how are Armin and Mikasa?" Eren asks while looking down nervously.

"They're good. Both of them were very sad for a while after you..you know, but they're okay now." I reassure him with a small smile and patt his shoulder.

"But..we need your help." I add, which makes him look up to me.

"Uh..sure, whats up?" He replies while rasing his eyebrow curiously.

Historia and I then told him everything that happened after the war ended and also about my parents.

"Wow, Historia. You're pregnant!" Eren exclaims, making me laugh.

"Eren, I was actually hoping you could say something to the situation with my parents?" I say and he gives me a sheepish smile.

"I'm just really happy for you guys!" He whines, which makes us both smile.

"Thank you." Historia replies and he smiles back at her.

"So..about my parents?" I remind him again and he nods before turning to me.

"Well..how about Historia distracts your parents while you sneak into their room to find some hints?" Eren suggests and Historia and I look at each other.

"Doesn't sound that bad." I say with a small shrug and she nods in agreement.

"Okay then let's do it."

Historia and I are now on our way to my "parents" room.

"You sure about this? What if they really are who they said they are?" She asks while grabbing my hand, making me look at her.

"Yeah, I'm sure. Even if they are my parents I want to know why they want to bring us apart." I tell her as I squeeze her hand and she gives me a small smile.

"Okay then..let's go through the plan again." I say as we stop in front of their room.

"I'll tell your parents we have to talk some things about them staying her and stuff like that and while I'm doing that you're sneaking in their room and look around for hints." She responds and I nod in response.

"Okay good.." I mumble before taking a deep breath and knocking on my parents door.

After a few seconds the door opens and my dad opens with a smile. "Oh hey.." he stops for a moment when he noticed that Historia is with me too.

I guess he didn't think Historia and I would be okay so early

"Is everything okay?" He asks while rasing his eyebrow and putting his hand on the door, closing it a little.

Doesn't he want us to see that's happening behind it?

"Well..not exactly. I need to talk to you about something." Historia says and he waits for her to go on.

"In private. With your wife too." She adds and dad then around to call my mom.

He then explains it to her and she nods. They all were about to go, so I stop mom.

"Umm..could I use your bathroom? I really need to go to the toilet." I ask with a small smile and she nods while smiling at me.

"Oh sure, honey." She replies with a smile and then opens the door for me.

I then watch them walk away and as soon as they're gone I go inside.

Now all I need to find are some clues..
