"Good morning, darling," Draco said as he pressed a light kiss onto her check.

Ed's eyes slowly fluttered open, resting on the beautiful blond boy beside her.

"Good morning," she smiled.

Draco pulled her closer until she was laying on his chest.

He stroked her long hair and started humming softly.

She's so, so beautiful, he thought.

This moment seemed surreal to him—he never knew he could love someone like this. Yet here he was.

Ed smiled against him, addicted to the sound of his soothing voice.

After years of having the biggest crush on him, her wish finally came true; and it was better than she had ever imagined.

They stayed like that for a while, until it was time to get up.

"We should probably go to breakfast," said Ed.

Draco grunted.

"I don't want to," he complained, holding her tighter.

"Me neither, but come on," she chuckled as she lifted his arm off of her.

She sat up, and Draco slightly pulled open the curtains over his bed.

"Don't worry, no one else is here."

They had slept in from riding on the Nimbus 2001 late last night.

Ed shivered as she got out of the bed, not used to the absence of Draco's warm body on hers.

"Cold, love?" He asked.

"Yeah," she responded.

"Here," he said grabbed a sweatshirt and pulled it over her head.

It was incredibly soft and the comfiest sweatshirt she had ever worn, but maybe that was just because it was Draco's.

"Thank you," she smiled.

"You should keep it. It looks great on you, and I want everyone to know you're mine," he said as he kissed her cheek.

Ed had never blushed harder.

"You're cute when you blush," he chuckled.

"My cheeks don't even get red," she stated.

"Yes they do, stop denying it," Draco smiled.

She rolled her eyes, annoyed at how well he knew her.

But at the same time, she loved how much he understood her.

A few weeks later, Ed was walking back from studying at the library when she saw Janae a few staircases above her.

"Hi, Janae, what are you doing up so late?" Ed called.

"I was on my way back to the common room, but the staircases moved. I don't know where to go," the young girl explained.

"Don't worry, I can help you."
