It was finally the day of the match—the day when (some of) the tensions between Gryffindor and Slytherin would subside once one house claimed victory.

It was almost a surprise that they were playing at all, considering that Umbridge required teams to be re-approved.

However, with how the Gryffindor team was performing, the outcome of the match seemed pretty clear.

But this didn't stop Malfoy from being his usual conceited self. In fact, he made everyone on the Slytheirn team, and anyone else who would wear them, a silver badge that said "Weasley is our King."

Of course, Ed did not approve of this.

"Will you take the badge off already? I've been wearing it the whole week," she asked as they got ready before the match.

And she had, but only because Malfoy put a charm on that permanently attached it to her Quidditch robes.

"Not until we win," he said confidently.

Ed rolled her eyes.

"What is it with you and badges?" She asked.

He had made one last year, too, for the Triwizard Tournament.

He shrugged.

"If it's only the message on it you're against, I can change it to 'Malfoy's girlfriend,' if you'd like," he smirked.

"Oh god, don't do that," Ed laughed.

"Why not?" He chuckled.

"You know, now that I think about it, I think I will," he joked.

"That's completely unnecessary. I'm pretty sure the entire school knows we're together," said Ed.

"It's not my fault everyone here is obsessed with me."

"If you weren't so arrogant you would see that they aren't," Ed argued.

"You're right, only you are," he smiled.

"I am not obsessed with you!" She protested.

"I don't mind, it's cute."

"You're so full of yourself sometimes," she shook her head as she finished getting her equipment ready.

"Hey! Koldings, Malfoy, it's almost time to go," Adrian Pucey called.

"Alright, we're coming," said Malfoy.

The team soon stepped onto the pitch, ready to start the match.

There was a slightly different lineup than third year—Graham Montague was captain and Crabbe and Goyle were the new beaters. Everyone else had already been on the team before. There was Malfoy as seeker, Bletchley as keeper, and Montague, Pucey, and Ed as chasers.

Everyone got into their position, and the second the whistle was blown, everyone was off.

"And it's Johnson with the Quaffle! What a player that girl is, I've been saying it for years but she still won't go out with me-" Lee Jordan, the commentator, announced.
