"I can't believe it!" Dawn squealed, Misty simply watching and smiling. "You both managed to convince your parents!"
"I know." May chuckled. "It's too good to be true."
"Well, in a moment, you're getting married!" Dawn squealed. "Your dress is amazing!"
It was true, the dress was nice, it was embroidered with lace and her dress had a see-through part, it was cream-colored and just simple, yet breathtaking.
"I have to say, I like being in shirt and sweatpants rather than this." She tried waving but it was too stiff. "It's tight."
"That's how gowns are." Misty said.
"Well.. You'll need to bear it, anyway. For hours." Dawn sweatdropped, feeling a bit envious.
"Ash is the best man, but I'm stuck between the two of you for maid-of-honor." May frowned, oh first world problems. The whole wedding plan was so stressful.
"Misty! Misty!" Dawn insisted. "I want her to be with Ash!"
Misty's entire face turned crimson. She was wearing a gown too (but is too lazy to describe it) "Uhm."
"Oh, the wedding's about to start!" Dawn interjected, dragging her two best friends to the church.
"Hey! I can't run in heels!"
"Neither can I, but it's called moving fast, May!" Dawn replied.
"Oh, there you are." It was Caroline, May's mother, she looked excited yet nervous. But May was even more nervous, and the humid atmosphere wasn't helping, she was drenched in sweat. Her makeup is probably going to be ruined. She ditched the whole veil idea, anyway.
"The ceremony is about to start." Norman said bluntly. He wasn't really up for the idea of his daughter marrying the son of his greatest enemies, but if she was happy..
The wooden doors opened.
"I'm nervous." May muttered.
The familiar tune of 'Here Comes The Bride' filled the room, the sun shone brilliantly on the glass-stained windows.
The flower girl, Asuka (if you haven't seen the after-the-7-year-gap of Fairy Tail, you wouldn't know her, but she has black hair in a braid, wearing a cowboy hat) threw a trail of roses.
Drew's eyes widened, if that was even possible, his eyes are already wide to begin with. It looked like he was going to cry but decided to hold it in. Who wouldn't cry? Dawn already finished her 3rd box of tissue.
Norman left her as soon as they came to the altar.
The priest began blah-blah-blahing.
The two did everything the pastor commanded them.
"Speak now or forever hold your peace." The pastor said.
The church remained silent , except for the chattering of the kids. A few kids drooling and snoring. The vows are a bit long so I'm gonna skip it, and sorry in advance if it's not in order. Also the exchanging of rings.
The pastor turned his attention to the two.
"Please join hands and look into each other's eyes."
They did as they were told, blue meeting green, as if sea meets.. Seaweeds? I like seaweeds they taste delish. Only a bit.
"Do you, Drew Hayden, take May Maple as your lawfully wedded wife, in richer and in poorer, in sickness and in health, 'til death do you part?"
Drew's smile reached his ears. "I do."
"And do you, May Maple, take Drew Hayden as your lawfully wedded husband, in richer and in poorer, in sickness and in health, 'til death do you part?"
May's eyes watered, thank god for tearproof, right? "Fudge yeah, I do, you don't even have to ask."
A few chuckles came from the guests and pastor.
"You may seal it with a kiss."
They kissed and May threw her bouqet in the air.
"I caught it!" It was the archery gal (aka me), she was blushing madly as she looked at the guy next to her. Obviously, it was her crush. "But I'm too young to marry."
"But we all know that Misty and Ash are gonna be next!" Dawn announced.
The two blushed, and a lot awwed.
"I'll never let you go..." Drew smirked. "..June."
She pouted then smiled.
"I'm so happy.."
"Because the buffet is ready?"
May grinned at her new husband.
"You know me too well."
