I rarely update this, it's a blessing.

"You need to learn how to use your cerebellum, May." Drew irked her, flicking his bangs away.

"I'm trying, I'm trying."

May crankily thrust the thing forward, and she came along with it.

"Honestly," Drew huffed, pulling up the clumsy brunette. "You are so clumsy. Join a bike race once you know how to ride one."

"I do know how to ride one." She bluffed, angrily glaring at her friend. "My memory's just a bit rusty."

"May, a trike and a bike are two very different--"

"It was a bike!" May angrily flailed her arms.

"Please." Drew rolled his eyes and snickered. "Also, so you won't get lonely or hurt, bring your boyfriend, Brandon along."

"I--" May stopped, smiling as Drew's heart broke into two. "His name is Brendan."

Drew couldn't bear to lose his dignity and pride, the only things he had left. Especially not to the person he considered his rival. Or friend.

So why on earth did he find May in the middle of the trail, all sprawled out, crying her eyes out?

Besides, she wasn't physically injured. Maybe emotionally, but he rushed to her anyway.

Leaning his bike on a tree, he neared her, careful not to snap a vein or what.

"May?"

All she could do was throw her arms around him, as tears fell from her eyes. "He-he broke me."

Drew said nothing but hugged her back as she cutely hiccupped, but now's not the time.

"It's okay, May. I'll always be here for you."

Baffled, May pulled away, a confused look on her eyes. "Really?"

"It's the least I could do after stealing your sandwich."

Angered, she punched him lightly on the arm. "Mood ruiner."

"Hey, it made you feel better." Drew countered.

Realizing it, May smiled. "Thanks, Drew."

Drew raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Whatever, weirdo."
