May Maple cupped her chin in her hands, shuffling her red and white sneakers.

She felt partly uncomfortable, mostly covered by uneasiness, which were two negative attributes but who the hell cares?

She was on a hanging-out thing with Drew, who was wearing something normal for a change, instead of his horrible sense of fashion outfit which was completely mismatched.

"Why're you staring at me?" He smirked cheekily, confidence surging through his veins, after all, he was hanging out with his long-time-crush-whom-he's-never-admitted-to-anyone, who wouldn't be joyful?

May's hands escaped from their previous position as she realized her doing. "Why? Am I not allowed to?"

He flipped his hair, feeling egoistic and everything. "Don't blame you though, people after all say 'attractive' is my middle name."

She just fumed at the green-haired male. "I'm so sure your first name is 'so not'." She shot back.

Drew, both impressed and hurt by her remark simply brushed off her argument. "Sure."

They both waited for the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream to arrive and while waiting, they just talked some more, because of the fact that their phones were near dying.

"Here it is, you two." A waitress served the dessert, purposefully placing only one spoon for the sweet treat.

"Um.. There's only one spoon." May complained meekly, while Drew took it as an oppurtunity to eat first.

The waitress clasped her hands over her mouth to show fake shock. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry, ma'am. I thought you two were on a date, so... You know, couples always request only one spoon." She rambled to play it off.

"We're not on a date!" May denied quickly, red covering her whole face, while Drew shoved a strawberry in his mouth, which was right on top of the ice cream of the same flavor.

The waitress bowed and rushed to get another spoon, which she clearly did not do.

"Hey!" May interjected, trying to grab the silverware from the greenette. "It's mine!"

Drew resisted her action, though she did as well, their faces were inches from each other which they didn't notice because they were used to it, and they were too busy screaming out insults.

"Here's your--" The waitress paused, seeing the intimate to most eyes situation. She stayed silent to see the scene unfold because it's not everyday you see this, especially with your OTP.

They stopped, seeing many people's eyes on them.

"IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS!"

End
because I'm totally planning the next oneshot rn.
