Double update, I will give you a hint why I did this.
Frustration, desperation, you say I need some kind of medication, situation, no motivation, desperation, permanent vacation.
I will dedicate the chapter to whoever knows who sang it and what the title is.
And yes, I watched Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day... Twice.

Drew was 7, then.

His family visited Petalburg at that time to visit their aunt, who is the mother of my closest cousin, April.

Drew asked his mother to let him explore, and after a bit of nagging, she finally agreed at the condition of not talking to suspicious strangers. Thefts and hostages were common but it was rarely occassioned in town.

And that is when he saw her.

She was sprawled out, crying, but to his eyes, she was the most beautiful girl in the whole world, of course, next to some anime characters he had fancies for. He knew at once it was what people call love at first sight.

He dashed to her side and asked if she was alright, the girl nodded and smiled at him genuinely.

"Thank you, I just twisted my ankle a bit, that's all." She explained, they talked a bit but right before he could ask for her name, a guy about their age came and angrily accussed Drew of her current state.

The girl, her sapphire eyes looked at the guy and explained that he was just helping her, he was named Brendan as what the girl called her.

"I don't believe you." The guy, Brendan said, crossing his arms, glaring at the other guy, he left soon after.

Drew then helped her get to her feet and half-carried, half-dragged her to where she asked him to go, he's thankful it was only a few meters away.

"Thank you." She smiled again, which Drew found really adorable. "If I ever find you again, which I know I will, we will get married, okay?"

Drew blushed at her statement. "But you don't even know my name, and I don't know yours."

"I can just feel it when I see you again. I know it will be you when I meet you again." The girl said, she sounded very hopeful. "It's a promise, okay?"

"I promise." Drew said and they did a pinky swear.

And that was how I met her, the girl I saw that day was her.
