"Geez, hurry up or we're gonna be late. Beat you there!" Drew, who was 8 then challenged the brunette.

"Wait!" She exclaimed, panting.
I wish I was a bit faster.

"June, seriously, you're so slow." He frowned exaggeratedly.

"Well, I'm sorry I'm not a guy." May replied, snapping at his rudeness.

"May. It's May, stop being so annoying." Damn, she's bipolar.

"May." He corrected himself, but scoffed at how it felt when it rolled off his tongue. "About my answer, I... Like someone else, sorry."

"I-it's okay." She sniffled.

"Look, it's Hayden and Maple together!" A voice announced, delighted by his finding.

A platinum-blonde girl with her mountain of hair pulled back in a french twist came and bad-mouthed May. No, this is not Elsa.

"B*tch! Drew-sama is mine!" She squeaked, her voice, squeaky, of course.
I wish I could be a bit stronger.

She thought as she was hit by a pack of slaps. Her face red with handprints.

"Nothing." She choked out.

"God damn it, Drew! With.. With her! It hurts to see you with her, okay? There, you happy?" She questioned, more tears spilling over. "You always look happy with her, and.. Even just as your friend, it.. Still hurts. I hate how I still have a stupid crush on you!"
I wish that the world gave less pain.

"Don't cry." Drew said, hugging her tightly. "It hurts to see you cry."
