Chills shot up my spine while I laid there, nothing was in my view since I kept my eyes tightly shut. Curling myself up into a small ball, I turned onto my other side and inhaled. A specific scent wafted itself into my nose, and my lips twitched into a soft smile. It was musky, a dark scent, something I may become addicted to. What I could only explain as comforting and manly. That's when I noticed where I was. Turning around and then sitting up, I rubbed at my eyes. Opening them, I assumed Jaebum would be there, but he wasn't. The feeling in my chest deflated, and I laid back down. I didn't know if that was me hoping he would be there and being disappointed, or me just being lonely and continuing to be alone.
The door freaked, and my eyes flickered over. Jaebum stood there, in all his metaphorical glory.
"Oppa..." I barely whispered out, sitting back up and scooting over to the side to help him. He stood holding two mugs, I could see the puffs of steam rising from them, making me wonder what he made this morning. Jaebum smiled at me, gently shaking his head as if telling me to stay put. So I did, sitting there with my legs out, my feet wiggling anxiously.
"Hot chocolate sound good?" He murmured, extending a light pink mug out to me. I looked at it, the high swirl of whipped cream and carefully placed marshmallows on top made me utter a laugh. I wondered if it was as time consuming as it looked to be, what it looked like was that he took an hour to place those four marshmallows in a pile. I took it in my hands, sitting up further so he could get by me. When I took mine, he sat down beside me, blowing on the hot drink before he took a sip. His just had an abundance of marshmallows on it. Licking at the light cream, I looked off to the side and sighed. I hoped it would always be like this, so Jaebum could always do nice things for me. I think I would be terribly lonely without him looking after me, I was glad we made the unanimous decision for him to be here.
"Yujin?" His voice called out to me, so I turned to look at him. I raised a brow, curious as to what he wanted to ask me. He lean forward, moving a hand up and tucking a piece of hair behind my ear for me. I grinned, looking back down at my drink and taking a short sip, the beverage still hot as can be. "Did you sleep well?" His voice refreshed my doubt of him not caring about me, since last night I was sure he just wanted my company sleeping next to him. Looking down at the cream as it melted into the chocolate, I took a small sip and glanced over at him. His hair was tousled around, as if he had just rolled over in bed and got up without looking in the mirror. It made me laugh, and he leaned forward and flicked my forehead lightly.
"I asked a question dear, you would have heard me if you weren't checking me out." My fantasy of Jaebum being sweet cracked in front of me, and I sighed, shaking my head hesitantly.
"One, I was not checking you out and two, I slept good. Probably because that pep talk." I explained, tilting my head so it would fall onto his shoulder. There I was resting my head on him, and talking about my feelings. I couldn't think of a weirder way to spend a morning, but it wasn't a bad feeling.
He reached a hand down, gently petting my head and twirling my hair around his index finger.
"That's good, after all you came here to sleep... I'm glad" he explained, smiling gently at me before he leaned down and placed a kiss on my nose. I scrunched it, nuzzling my head into the nape of his neck before sighing loudly. The sigh was short and heavy, I wasn't too sure if it was a good feeling or a bad one. Jaebum looked at me, watching me for a second before a tiny smile fell onto his lips as he took another sip of his drink.
"I need to change, and you should probably get back to your room before anyone asks questions" he stood up first, wandering to his dresser and setting the mug down. I followed, though walked right past him and was wandering to the stairs. Someone cleared their throat and I froze in my spot. Who was it? Youngjae? Mark? Turning my head gently, I saw Eunmi, her long dark hair up in a messy bun, a sweater on and pyjama bottoms. Her arms were crossed, and she stared right into me.
